The dog's thought on the matter: "Boing! Wheee! Boing! Wheee! Boing! Wheee! Boing! Wheee!"

I liked the part where the dog jumped a lot.

I'm reminded of Dexter's Lab.

My dog does that too (except better of course). I once told a guy he was half antelope, half dog and the guy said, "How is that possible?" Err, um.

If you don't love dogs, there is something seriously wrong with you.

I have a mild fear of dogs. I can appreciate a video of a dog, such as TFV, but I get more and more nervous the closer a real dog gets to me. Maybe I'm what's wrong with the world.

/love cats always though

I used to have a dog that did this. Except she wasn't very big, so she couldn't poing up high enough to get above the grass all the way. So, all you saw was a couple of dog ears and a tail poke up over the grass every once in a while. This was the same dog that on more than one occasion chased a cat up a tree. And by chased a cat up a tree, I mean the dog herself would be about 20 feet up the tree out on a branch still going after the cat. It was funny until she would look down and realize what she had done. Then she would freeze, start whining and barking, and I would have to climb up the tree after her to get her down.

Thanks for that, subby!

My Guinness looks just like that dog, but would rather sleep on the sofa than cavort in the grass.

We used to have an apple tree in our backyard, and two dachshunds who loved nothing more than climbing the tree and eating apples right off the branch. When having guests over, the initial "OMGWTF THERE'S A WIENER DOG IN YOUR TREE" reactions were always great. They were smart enough to figure out how to get out of the tree on their own though.

Anyone else get the feeling at the very end that the dog sat down and was thinking, "Dammit, you did that thing when you acted like you threw something but didn't really throw it, didn't you... didn't you?"

well worth your time to try to overcome that fear, the companionship of a good dog is one of life's greatest pleasures.
