Inner cities need to offer free target training and gun range hours to thugs and gangbangers. It would really cut down on innocent bystanders getting shot and paralyzed.

Inasmuch as the kid was shot during a gang-related gunfight, and white Chicago-area youth don't join gangs, it would be racist to blame the gangs, gang members, or gang violence.
Instead, blame the white people. If white people did not demand continued respect for second amendment rights, somehow criminals would not be able to get guns - even though Mexican drug cartels have no problem importing illegal machine guns.
But wait - the majority of newspaper subscribers are white, middle class people who can't afford their own security force. So instead of blaming readers, blame the bullet.

Actually, you can't completely know both the position and momentum of the bullet at the same time, so if we know it wasn't slowing down, we can't say it was *the* bullet that killed him, or whether it was even there.

Gunnery Chief: This, recruits, is a 20-kilo ferrous slug. Feel the weight. Every five seconds, the main gun of an Everest-class dreadnought accelerates one to 1.3 percent of light speed. It impacts with the force of a 38-kilotomb bomb. That is three times the yield of the city buster dropped on Hiroshima back on Earth. That means Sir Isaac Newton is the deadliest son-of-a-biatch in space. Now! Serviceman Burnside! What is Newton's First Law?
First Recruit: Sir! A object in motion stays in motion, sir!
Gunnery Chief: No credit for partial answers, maggot!
First Recruit: Sir! Unless acted on by an outside force, sir!
Gunnery Chief: Damn straight! I dare to assume you ignorant jackasses know that space is empty. Once you fire this husk of metal, it keeps going till it hits something. That can be a ship, or the planet behind that ship. It might go off into deep space and hit somebody else in ten thousand years. If you pull the trigger on this, you're ruining someone's day, somewhere and sometime. That is why you check your damn targets! That is why you wait for the computer to give you a damn firing solution! That is why, Serviceman Chung, we do not "eyeball it!" This is a weapon of mass destruction. You are not a cowboy shooting from the hip!
Second Recruit: Sir, yes sir!

Actually in college I had a friend who was in the Wheelchair Basketball team. It's brutal, brutal sport. But the guys playing it loved it. It's like demolition derby with no helmets or roll cages. In fact, you really don't have to worry about people injuring themselves-because they already are gimps...

gun control:
1) using both hands to control the gun when you fire it.
2) hitting what you are aiming at.
in hopefully before the gun control libs complain about the need for guns..yada, ad nausaum.
other than the straw purchasers - who IMO should be charged with the same crime if any of the guns they bought "legitimately" are used in a crime...
does anyone really believe that the "gun nuts" would really a) sell guns illegally on the street b) sell ANY gun that they have illegally ?

The big quote is from Mass Effect 2, which is as awesome as it looks. Mass Effect 1 plays like a big galaxy exploration game with huge amounts of flavor (google elevator conversations in mass effect), whereas Mass Effect 2 is a bit more of a polished tactical shooter / choose your own adventure game.
