Pretty sure Guinness has always listed themselves as the largest brewery in the world in their own book.

I still think the original AB Brewery in St. Louis is still the largest in quantity made.

It's actually an awesome tour if you're ever in Dublin and you get a free pint at the end to enjoy in a fairly high up spot with a good view of Dublin. The entire surrounding area of the brewery is a very distinct district and carries a lot of history if you're into that sort of thing.

I'm not huge on drinking Guinness but all the same.

It's an entirely different beer in Ireland. Here in the United States of Suck, we think dark beers are all supposed to have the texture of molases and taste like burned ass, which is what Guinness is here. Over there, it is a 3.2 lager, very light, and quite refreshing.

"Guinness doesn't travel" is as true as E=mc^2.
