Just give the ball to the 49ers, they've earned it so far.

2012-01-14 05:27:59 PM
I like how the Fox graphics say "No Challenge". For a second I was like WTF?

Lord of Allusions: I'm thinking State Farm gets Favre into a commercial for the Super Bowl.

Pratty: Earguy: Just got home from work, and Mrs. Earguy's watching a movie. Any particular reason to insist on watching the NO/SF game, or should I just insist on watching the NE/Den game?

/no dog in the fight

Well, the Niners/SO game is hilarious so far, with 3 Saints TOs and being down 17-0 in the second. Broncos/NE will be trolltastic. Your choice.

Eh. I threw on a stream while the movie's on. Pretty good flick, actually. A european flick called The Guard, with Don Cheadle. Action, laughs, political incorrectness. Got good reviews on Rotten Tomatoes too.

That doesn't look like a fumble.

San Francisco is making Sproles gun-shy. He's getting rocked everytime he touches the ball.

2012-01-14 05:28:34 PM
Saints still a flick of Drew's wrist from being back in this once the fumble call is overruled

2012-01-14 05:28:45 PM
It's a good thing head coaches are always on their period or throwing the challenge flag would be much less dramatic.

They forgot the comma.

No, Challenge!

Detroit Lions Defense, I hope you're paying attention - this is how you hit.

It would be a good thing to remember this for next year.

/where dat ball?
//in San Fran's hands...

I love this Muppet - Under Pressure commercial.

At some point I should get tired of these Muppet commercials.

Not today, though.

InferiousX: If Drew Brees pulls a Jake, we'll have to talk robsul off of a ledge with a megaphone.

Meanwhile, Epiphany will sport an erection that penetrates the ionosphere and disrupts all satellite/radio communication for a solid 3 hours

If that happens my penis will explode, EXPLODE

It's so quiet in New Orleans you can hear the catfish swimming!

Sproles is lucky that his knees are closer to the ground than regular players.

Hah, yeah I hear ya. Thankfully his claws are not long or anything, it's just the sudden leg steps that are unexpected and annoying :-\

That's on my list of movies to see in the near future. Brendan Gleeson is a pretty solid actor too.

picodenico: davidphogan: The Packers had a lot of close games. They only beat San Diego by 7. They were still the better team.

I agree, but well...I guess no playoff game should be easy. And I'm sure it won't be.

If I were a Packers fan, I'd be more worried about a team they haven't played than a team they already beat. The 49ers have looked really solid all season, and just kept getting better.

The Lions can hit this way. They just have to wait until a few seconds after the whistle blows.

Mike Pereria, you're not helping. You're only showing us how broken the NFL officiating really is.

I always wonder about the cop there. I mean, is the NFL that worried about someone messing with the replay camera.

You should insist on purchasing a second TV.

...and a damned sammich.

I know I'm weird, but I actually like hanging with the wife, and sometimes do things to please her.

I haven't seen her all day (left the house at 6AM), and she had a procedure done yesterday, so giving her a little TLC is in order.

Mrs. Earguy gives me my latitude too, I get plenty of TV/sports time, and she even will give me a snog at halftime or between games.

I can't remember what watching football was like before instant replay but it probably involved lots of yelling and throwing things.

I...... did what?

Oh whew, 4th turnover avoided. Now get your shiat together! I have faith in you, Saints.

OK my little love-muffins. I must alight off unto the pub. But before I go, I have to make sure that you see this:

Especially in the days after TV had instant replay, but the NFL didn't.

IIRC, The Oilers got farked that way, and everyone but the refs knew it.
