God I hated that movie...just looking at that picture pisses. me. off.

As a "latchkey kid," I once paused to catch a daytime showing of that movie one summer weekday when my folks were working. Why did I choose Mannequinn? Because fark you, that's why. Andrew McCarthy was a big star back then. Anyway, now whenever I see that image or hear that Starship theme song I have this terrible recollection of being a 10 or so year-old kid sitting alone in a theater in yet another town where my dad had been transferred to.

So yeah, that pic pissed me off, too. :D
