Oh. Him.

Now, I'd be all for finding a superhero who's adventures could be made into a TV serial, but this guy? For fark sake.

Give me a Heroes for Hire TV show. (CSI + X-Files) x Bruce Lee

Loved Smallville Green Arrow but we don't need to revisit his story..we've already seen it on Smallville
I would prefer The Flash

Man, I would chop off your left nut for a Blue Beetle (Ted Kord) tv series. Especially if the final episode killed him off just like in Countdown to Final Crisis.

No...we did not mention a time-travelling ex-jock janitor of a superhero museum and his talking computer.

Poofy Sleeves, metal tiaras and silk pajamas. Of course. I'd like to see it set in the 70's, but bring in some of the newer members too. Cage and Danny and Misty and Colleen start it out. Then eventually(probably after you do the first seaon's Misty-Danny-Cage love triangle) bring in Paladin, Black Cat and either Silver Sable or the female Tarantula.

Yeah, just do a spin off of Smallville with Justin Hartley as Green Arrow.

I prefer the new Blue Beetle, Jaime Reyes. He had a classic Spider-man Peter Parker feel to him.

This. You've already got got the character, plus we get teh hotness of Allison Mack (who can actually act) to go along with him.

I'll repeat what I said in a superhero thread last year: I would watch this big screen adaptation with Sam Rockwell in the role.

All they need is to add Black Canary and Green Lantern. Set it in the 70's and there you go.

Older Green Arrow would've been good.
I farking HATE the new 52 series.
(Thanks CW for making DC your biatch)
Good job to whatever tv exec went the easy route. Really earning your pay.

Plenty of stuff out there.
Green hornet
Blue Beetle/Booster Gold
Mystery Men
Dial H for Hero
Heroes for Hire

I'll just keep rewatching Batman TAS. Timeless stuff, that.

/I love how there are jokes and references in those episodes that I didn't get as a child
//like Harley Quinn telling Bullock that she once served him with a supeona, but it was a small supeona
///hooray for penis jokes!!!!

Throw Shang Chi in there too

So long as the shaft is well greased, we know that it'll do well on the CW.

Perhaps after they can bring Smallville back and tagteam the show into double episodes every week.

It'd have to be after Danny and Misty break up. Danny leaves the show and Paladin and Shang Chi come in. Paladin is Misty's new love interest and Shang Chi takes Danny's place as badass Kung Fu master.

Shang just doesn't have that mystical quality about him that Fist does. He's more 'model of human perfection' than 'imbued with ancient martial arts magic.'

That's either current rebooted Green Arrow or Connor Hawk GA from when Queen was dead.

I really enjoyed the Green Arrow cartoon on the Superman/Shazam DVD. Hopefully the live-action show is pretty close in tone to that, and not tweeny Smallville shiat.

With my rotten luck, it'll be the Abercrombie refugee from Smallville, not the hot goateed liberal that banged Black Canary on the daily.

There is zero chance it will be anything other than tweeny shiat. We'll be lucky if Ollie is out of high school.

I know, but I can hope.

Incidentally, if you haven't seen the Superman/Shazam DVD, try to pick it up. It's actually a collection of 4 different cartoons -- Superman/Shazam, Green Arrow, Jonah Hex, and The Spectre -- and they're all actually really good (the title one is probably the weakest of the lot, but I even enjoyed that one).

And down in the basement, their counterpart to Alfred Pennyworth was none other than frickin' Aquaman!
