YOU KNOW WHERE YOU ARE! YOU'RE IN THE COURTROOM, BABY! YOU GONNA BE TRIED!

A source tells PEOPLE that Guns N' Roses frontman Axl Rose has been serving jury duty on a civil trial in Santa Monica, Calif.

What so civil about trial anyway?

"plus I got to see daylight from a different prospect"

Wat

2012-01-13 01:29:48 PM
I usually don't stay stuff like this, but that better be on "Headline of the year" come December. I got a good laugh off it, :)

2012-01-13 01:39:25 PM
Axl should realize that you can't show up 5 hours late for jury duty like you can (sometimes) for a concert.

I'd be shocked if it wasn't. That's a good one.

Too bad it'll be relegated to the Entertainment tab. That's why I check top voted links once in awhile, to catch gems like these.

He better have patience. Civil courts can get pretty tied up.

2012-01-13 02:38:48 PM
I think he'll find this to be an enjoyable experience. If he does it right, it's so easy.

2012-01-13 03:17:35 PM
I actually laughed out loud.

/mr. brownstone - best track on that album

Since you're a TFarker, why not just go to the greenlit links page... it has everything, including upcoming.

I do that sometimes, that and commented/tfd, but sometimes I miss a really good one, that's why I check the voting tab once a day or so.

My thoughts exactly.

You could be fined, but you're way out of line.

Whoa-ohhh-ohhh-ohhh, sweet trial of mine...
Whoa-ohh-ohh-ohh, sweet law of mine.

She's got a smile, and it seems to me
Reminds me of, law school, legal briefs
Where everything was as sound as an alibi...

And the contenders for 'Headlines of the Year' are already out of the gate.

Nicely done, subby.

WELCOME TO THE JURY!

2012-01-13 04:08:05 PM
And how long do you guys think it'll take for him to deliver a verdict?

2012-01-13 04:08:12 PM
Axl Rose? He don't need your civil trial. Ow, oh no, no, no, no, no.

2012-01-13 04:09:47 PM
We almost have an entire song here....someone call weird al and prepare the royalty agreements

+1 for Subby.

Seriously. The only way to handle jury duty is whenever you find a summons in the mail, to immediately throw it in the trash and never think about it again. THAT'S the American way!

The headline, good stuff.

Not Guilty?

Is that Bowser from Sha na na?
also will someone say "No its Bowser from the Mario series of video games" in reply to this?

Nice work, Submitter.

2012-01-13 04:29:31 PM
I think this headline needs to be in the running for 2012 headline of the year.

Good call old chap.

What about Arthur Fonzarelli?

2012-01-13 04:36:53 PM
I'm surprised that he didn't get thrown off the jury because of his appetite for destruction.

2012-01-13 04:59:25 PM
I laughed, subby.

2012-01-13 05:08:54 PM
Headline is "meh" at best. It's January 13th, I'm pretty sure Farkers can do much better than this in the remaining 353 days (minus however early they start the contest).

2012-01-13 05:12:10 PM
LOLed at the headline at first, then wondered why it said "Sha-" 3 times. I'm guessing it's been awhile since subby heard the song.

Clearly I've put too much thought into this.

2012-01-13 05:16:25 PM
+1 Subby. Nice.

2012-01-13 05:18:08 PM
adding... early Entertainment Tab HLotY entry

2012-01-13 05:23:01 PM
HOTY submission right off the bat, subby.

2012-01-13 05:36:12 PM
If you replace the line "Welcome to the jungle" with "Welcome to my bunghole" and any other jungle line with bunghole you get a whole new song! Sing it for your friends (if you have any).

hehe,

Funny headline is funny!

2012-01-13 06:00:51 PM
I laughed at the headline, then laughed again at the "plus I got to see daylight from a different prospect" quip. Double Plus Good!

Subby, I would get Total Fark just so I can +1 you

2012-01-13 06:41:41 PM
He might be working late. Might need to take the night train home.

2012-01-13 06:50:38 PM
The defendant's excuse for murdering his wife: "he used to love her, but he had to kill her".

2012-01-13 06:51:08 PM
I even read that headline in Axl's voice.

well done sir
