Detectives say the unidentified man had recently stayed in the same residence, and knew of a stash of guns inside the home. Detectives believe that when some of the group went to the garage to smoke the weed, Jubbard Price and the unidentified man got access to the stash of guns and opened fire on the others.

So the guy who started all this has not been identified as a pot smoker and no one can legitimately use this as a "Reefer Madness" example of violence perpetrated by a pot smoker.

Individuals who claim that no benefit was ever achieved through use of firearms should learn from your example. Instead, unfortunately, they will retell the events while omitting the criminal nature of all involved individuals and claim instead them to be innocent victims of gun violence.

"moveable" is what we call personal property.

common law has personal and real property (I think). real being land and personal being stuff that isn't land.

civilian law has moveable and immovable property.

immovable is land and the stuff attached to it. moveable is stuff that can be moved (or anything that isn't immovable).

(we also have corporeal and incorporeal classifications within the moveable or immovable categories)

so, it's akin to unauthorized use of personal property. It's basically theft (in my speculation: probably was an actual theft, but the DA didn't have evidence or made a deal, so he dropped it down to this)

Which is the worse charge: possession of stolen property or mere stolen things? I assume the "things" were no one's actual property? What, did they steal a tree from a public park?

Also, yeah, I echo the above... "Unauthorized use of a moveable"? Moveable what?? "Wandering abroad"? They arrested him for backpacking through France?
