I have a friend that is a Biologist and 50 who called me about this anti-virus trial that was on his system. He was trying to purchase it and the bank was declining the transactions. Isn't the age it's the computer savy.

I personaly know of someone that fell for a 419 scam. Last I heard the scammers had taken him for over $250,000.

Seems this is survey-based and didn't control for total use--meaning that the people most likely to have fallen for a scam are the people who use the internet the most and the people least likely to are the people who use the internet the least.

Younger? In my experience, it's old people that click whatever and believe everything they read on the Internet is legit.

My parents do not fall within that demographic, and yet they are likely to fall for these scams.
