Put a "re" in the middle, and it's even cooler.

So, 2:30 of some obscure old guy from a tv show nobody watches talking and 7 seconds of the actual car. Is there a version where they cut out everything but the car? Because the car is pretty cool looking.

When it's so obvious, it ain't no fun.

/Invasion of the Dinosaurs came out Tuesday. Fun serial. The color recovery on episode 1 was kind of crappy, but what can they really do? The only way to make it better would have been to send it to Legend for colorization over top of the recovery, and I guess the budget didn't allow for that. But that's why they gave you thee B&W option, too. Either way, damn fun serial.

I've been meaning to ask for a while, and now seems as good a time as any: I'm sorely lacking in classic Who viewing. All I currently have access to is the Netflix ones, which, for whatever reason, is not all of the ones available on dvd. Of those on Netflix, which should I watch?

I don't know.

I don't have a Netflix account anymore, and in yet another genius move by them, Netflix requires you sign up before you can browse what they have.

Last time we did this, we focused on Streaming only. I recall Spearhead From Space and The Three Doctors being on there.

Spearhead is the first Third Doctor serial, and a decent story. The Three Doctors is the tenth anniversary story, and brings all three Doctors together. It's a great way to get a feel for the Second Doctor.

Anything they have from Tom Baker's Fourth Doctor should be decent, and if they have Earthshock or Caves of Androzani, those are decent Fifth Doctor serials.

IIRC, There are no Sixth Doctor serials on Netflix, and either Ghost Light or Curse of Fenric is available on Netflix, both of which are good Seventh Doctor serials.

As for the first two Doctors... whatever Netflix has will be decent. I think The Aztecs was a First Doctor serial they had for streaming. And anything from the Second Doctor is great.

They have a very small selection of Classic Who available for streaming. So, yeah, whatever they have.

Actually the Doctor has had two cars, both in his third incarnation as played by the fabulous Jon Pertwee seen in the clip. His main car was actually a bright yellow Siva Edwardian which is, in fact, a fibreglass kit car based on the old British Ford 103E Popular.

Bonus clip I just found of the Doctor working on Bessie while singing Jabberwocky

I haven't come across many who share this opinion, but Christopher Eccleston was my Doctor. I didn't really get into Who until the new series, and he was my first. It was glorious, though short lived.

Eccleston was my first Doctor, but my favorites wound up being Troughton and Baker 2.

/started with the new series, as well.

Sylvester McCoy was my Doctor, but Pertwee's description of the conversations with the police was hilarious.
