No. That would be an invasion of their privacy.

i think I may have donated money for this documentary to be made.
every year for a while I've donated to a DC based NGO (Mental Disability Rights International) to document what goes on in institutions for the disabled in various countries. The Duchess is one of their spokespeople.

This is isn't unusual. The whole "Liberals hate America" thing is about Liberals admitting things like Mai Lai and Abu Ghraib. For many people the way to deal with embarrassing facts is denial.

*giggles*

I was going to post something about how I'm not surprised, disabled children are one of the most vulnerable groups...blah, blah, blah and I was totally thrown. Good jerb.

I heard Turkey referred to a first world country. I lol'd.

Also, I'd like to bone the Duchess of Cambridge.

Before you start pointing fingers at Turkey, have you seen the kind of horrors that Romanian disabled children endured under Ceausescu? You are so quick to blame the Muslims, but you don't take the beam out of your own eye. Europeans have done some terrible things to the disabled and orphans.

2012-01-13 10:35:46 AM
Dear Turkey,
You used to be cool. You were a Muslim country, but you were secular and you were in NATO. You also got along decently well with Israel and gave us some hope that you could serve as a bridge between Islam and Zionism (likely a futile hope, but still...).

Then all of a sudden you had to go elect the religious right and get whacky. Plus for every step we take to make a deal with the Kurds, you bomb them two steps back. Now this...

Can you go back to being a military dictatorship or clone Ataturk or something?

Well, that makes it ok then.

They are still pissed that the son of the Turkish ambassador died of a heart attack after popping the hot, eldest daughter's cherry on Downton Abbey.

I think he died just the way he'd have wanted to.

It's not a smudge campaign if it is true.

On the recent plus-side, they've taken a fairly hard line with Syria.

Ceausescu was a commie, so of course he's evil.

The clothed craniums running Turkey keep asking for respect like they aren't evil, yet they do shiat like this. Today, in 2012.

Call em like they are seen, Turks are shiatbirds.

Anadolu, the state-run news agency reported that the prosecution claims the children filmed in the programme were youngsters with severe disabilities, many of whom were prone to "violent tendencies towards themselves and their surroundings".

If you treated me like that, I'd be pretty farking violent, too.

Yeah, and everybody wants to crack down on Egypt because their military is trying to prevent the same thing with the Muslim Brotherhood.

/just replace Ataturk with Mubarak and Egypt with Turkey and it is the same shiat.
//so much for mooselum theocracy democracy.

In other news, millions of Armenians never actually existed.

There's a lot the West should learn about muslims and their 'honor'. She dared to insult Turkey, she must pay.

Sometime my sister, she show her vazhïn to my brother Bilo and say "You will never get this, you will never get this! Lalalalala!" When he behind his cage, and he go crazy-crazy, everybody laugh, she go "You will never get this. But one time, he break cage and he get "this" and then we all laugh! High-five!

The Turkish government accused the Duchess of trying to smear the country's image

A sure sign of a shiathole country is that they make it a crime to smear their image.

This exonerates Turkey ? Are you saying that because they are Muslims we should not point out the rancid dark corners of their society ?

As for Romania, the question is whether this is still going on now that they have actually become "Europeans" by joining the EU as opposed to just being Europeans by being a country located in the European continent.

Well, when I'm tied to a bed all day without food, I prefer not to have strangers snooping around too...

Serdar Argic: Lies. It was children who starved the Turks

2012-01-13 10:59:27 AM
This is always sad when the lack of money and or knowledge hinders the proper care of our children.

The "Princess" needs to keep in mind that only 35-40 years ago Europe and America were still keeping children tied to their beds to keep them from wondering away, pampers only being changed once a day and the more difficult children were kept lock in a room etc.

Maybe the "Princess" could start a charity for raising money and local awareness for volunteers.

2012-01-13 10:59:47 AM
It would be cool to see her fly to Turkey and basically tell them, "Come at me Bro".

That was a sad and horrible case. That footage is haunting.

What is perhaps most shocking is that Geraldo used to be a legitimate journalist.

Because it has happened elsewhere, we should no longer expose it anywhere?

Can we just get rid of religion? Please? Can we just treat all the people like we want to be treated...yeah, I know that sounds a lot like the "golden rule" or golden shower or something but it also fair and balanced and easy for even religious magic book thumping, claim to know and speak to the magic sky people, fundamentalist taliban a55h0les to follow.

/sick of "humans"

Of course not, don't be stupid. The point is that calling Turkey a backwards third-world evil shiathole based on behavior exactly like the USA's fairly recent behavior is misguided. Although plenty of places in the States are backwards shiatholes, of course.
