Not really silly. In a lot of kitchens the window is the largest area where a screen can be put. Using the window that way instead of a small pad device elsewhere is genius.

It will resemble your boxers, although lacking the Hello Kitty imagery, and will have much longer leg-coverings, perhaps even extending to the ankles. These can be put on in the event of power loss.
