Are you sure you are talking about San Jose, and not San Andreas?

Don't forget the million dollar, 1000 sq.ft. homes.

Nice weather though.

Do you know the way to San Jose?

San Jose may be hot as hell and super boring, but chances are good that they'll get the forlorn A's.

Perhaps a career as a getaway driver was not the right choice.

Hmm, I live a few miles from where this all went down. I was wondering when it would make it to fark. California is awesome. You know you're jelly.

So, are all the folks in San Jose "trained" to deal with these sort of situations? It says that the man was a "resident," and that his "training kicked in." Had he only been a resident for 17 years? I'm confused.

The sentence before that says: "The 36-year-old San Jose resident was on his way to work as president of Echelon Security"

I'll accept boring, but San Jose is hot as hell? You really should travel more.

Did anyone else mentally read the headline to, approximately, the tune of Billy Joel's "We didn't start the fire"?

I left when they cut down the last orchard. Back then there wasn't even sushi.

Last I checked, San Jose is the safest big city in the US. Having grown up there, I can say it is also the most boring, sorry ass excuse for a big city in the US.

They new he was from Gilroy based on the garlic smell.

Oh I guess you're right; pardon me for saying it. I lived in the Bay Area for many years and you're right it's not super hot. Boring indeed and we'll leave it at that.

San Jo is where it's at, even though it is expensive. I mean, really, $ 200 for a one hour massage?

Thats just crazy.

San Jose has Fanimecon. It's the only time I go to San Jose. Well, last year I went to the BigWow Comicfest for the first time and it was the first time I've seen San Jose so quiet (least that part of the city). The following week there was Fanime...and a conzillion people.

Didn't know they had one (though I'm not surprised), but yeah, I'm gonna skip out on that. I'm not into the whole furry thing.
