To be fair, the sledgehammer came with a +3 Agility bonus. His mistake was in thinking bullets are Piercing weapons, which they aren't. They're Crushing. So his Wife Beater of Mythic Protection (-120 Dmg to all Piercing attacks) was completely useless. Common mistake, really.
