I want to pitch a show to FOX.
"Celebrity Peek-A-Boo! ", where B-list celebrities hide their face in their hands, and the contestant has to try to figure where they went.
The only problem I can see is the FOX audience playing at home becoming frustrated at not getting any of the answers.

"Games lubricate the body and the mind." -
Benjamin Franklin
"As to the species of exercise, I advise the gun. While this gives a moderate exercise to the body, it gives boldness, enterprize, and independance to the mind. Games played with the ball and others of that nature, are too violent for the body and stamp no character on the mind. Let your gun therefore be the constant companion of your walks." -

Cool story, sis: A few years ago, my company had a huge sales meeting in Orlando @ Universal Studios--about 4K people crammed into 2 hotels and the schedule was brutal. Full schedule of boring meetings from 8am to 9pm with barely any breaks. Finally got one 90-minute break on Saturday afternoon so a dozen or so of us hopped the water taxi & headed to Margaritaville. Nobody but us in the entire place and we got hammered. Somebody got the bright idea of playing musical chairs, but to keep the exact number of chairs as people. You lost if you tried to sit & fell off the chair.
After 20 minutes, the bar was packed with people wanting to play. Within 30 minutes, it was just a mass of people staggering in a loose circle, tripping & falling over each other. It was hysterical. If CW really wants to do this, alcohol MUST be involved for it to be worth watching.

In addition, The Joker's Wild, Double Dare (Trebek 70s version), Tic Tac Dough, and Name That Tune are all games that are due for a remake.
And why Comedy Central hasn't commissioned a new version of "Match Game" to air after Stewart/Colbert is beyond me.

Oh, you mean the guy who payed attention to the sequences of the spins, managed to work out when to press the button to his, rather than the studio's advantage, and won half a million dollars? It's a game, the object of which is to win. Sounds like he achieved the objective pretty well.

That man, Michael Larsen, won $110,237 by doing exactly what PizzaJedi81 said. The producers, who had been using a board-flashing sequence of like only four patterns, changed it to 32 randomized patterns after that.
And Michael Larsen is dead.

Someone could still learn the sequences and play it like Larson did. Which would amuse me no end, honestly.

That would take someone with a Rain Man-type of ability. When Larson played, it was four patterns, all in the same sequence. All he had to do was wait momentarily for the right pattern. When they changed it, it went to 32
randomized
patterns, which would be damn near impossible for anyone to beat.
When GSN remade Press Your Luck (Whammy!), I believe there were no patterns at all - just a completely randomized board that never flashed in the same sequence.

It'd be a huge challenge to keep a new Match Game clean enough for TV and I can just imagine a modern-day Name That Tune:
Host: "This techno song was a big hit for an artist who originally began his career with his brother."
Contestant: "I can name that tune in 6 notes"
Host: "Name that tune"
Tune: "
ooontz, oontz, oontz, oontz, oontz, oontz

Well, that's the thing about putting Match Game on Comedy Central late night. They wouldn't HAVE to keep it totally clean - I mean, during the Roasts the only major word censored is "f*ck"; apparently "sh*t" is acceptable on that network.
And you're Name That Tune problem made me laugh out loud. The solution? Instead of "Bid-A-Note", play "Bid-A-Second", as in "I can name that tune in six seconds."

Hey, no dissing Supernatural! You have to hand it to a series that references its own slash fiction.

Supernatural is actually a fantastic show. Deserves a better network. The rest of those deserve ridicule.
