Hopefully we can use SOPA to take NASA offline, finally ending the existence of this bloated federal department. Really, what good has ever come from NASA, what with their science, expertise, and curiosity?

I'm actually into this space agency you probably haven't heard of.

NASA is trying a lot of things to recruit our next generation of slips-stick jockeys and steely-eyed missile men and women. It's a very small expenditure in the overall budget, and we need to get that next generation engaged, if we want to see more progress into space.

This plot sounds great until you consider what those kids will inevitably do to their space suits in an effort to appear ironic.

But then what would your Vice Presidents do?

Actually, I only go into space in Saturn IB rockets because they are so much more analog and allow a little bit more distortion, which is a lot better than the cold corporate rockets of today.

mostly... no

Just read the plot on wiki.
Was it better than it is described? Cause I'm thinking I'm ahead about 84 mins.

Ya know I was back and forth on that one, but the fixed gear + messenger bag sold it for me.

Ok so does any one else remember the NASA cable channel? They would show launches and some documentaries. But mostly it was filler from cameras up on the Space Shuttle or the ISS. So half the time you would flick through the stations and right int he middle there's this live feed from space. Sometimes it would be a camera pointed straight at the earth and you would get to watch the oceans, clouds and continents whizzing by. Other times it would be pointed forward and you would get to watch the sun rise over the earth. I always found it was a good background images when putzing around the house. I would love to find something like it again but I haven't been able to.

Direct Tv has the NASA channel...it seems it's mostly people talking in panel discussions and such. Then again, haven't really clicked over there since the start of hockey season.

The station played Graffiti6 and Spinnerette when I tried it this morning, so it's good in my book.

Think "Paranormal Activity" in space. It wasn't a horrible movie, but it also wasn't a movie that I'd want to re-watch either.

Yeah, I'm listening to it now, and by golly, I like it. As long as they don't start playing any dubstep, I'll stay plugged in.
