Well, they tore down Dahmer's old apartment building a couple years after you left. I think Wells is now a two-way street which confuses the hell out of me. Marquette's put up a ton of new buildings and there are a bunch of new, early-21st century-style commercial/residential properties on the through streets, and the resulting mix of old and new kind of makes the area look kind of like Chicago.

Maybe they did that to keep the students from feeling homesick.

I'm sure somehow when walking due west from MU you'd find yourself lost somewhere in like New Berlin or Butler or Elm Grove and then be stopped and asked for identification if you seemed suspicious, which means anyone tanner than skim milk, and not spray-on-orange tan.
