That kid's sensei should be all up in his face for throwing such a potentially counterable kick. With that kind of skill he should have been able to throw a snap kick or two just as fast as that Chuck Norris shiat.

To be fair, that was sort of my thought. Well, that, and "how staged was this?"

In 15 years of bouncing and security, I saw exactly one attempted roundhouse. Which was not just stuffed, but stuffed hard by one of my guys. They look cool, they are good practice, but not real useful unless your opponent is a complete idiot.

That's how you know you bullied the wrong guy. You can see the potential bully sense something is amiss and try to walk away, but it was already too late.

This guy has likely been practicing that move for quite awhile, and was just waiting for some unsuspecting fool to give him a reason to use it.

Which seems to have been the case, this time.

I've actually seen one land, while a bouncer (we do get to see people at their best), however it didn't have much of an effect. The guy was just sober enough to turn his head and probably had a swollen cheek or black eye the next day, but didn't go down. Me and my partner were actually stunned enough that we stood there while a few more fists were thrown.

Later on in the evening he took a swing at me out of the blue, I guess for old times sake. His friends were nice enough to take him to the hospital afterwards and the bartender covered my tab since apparently that guy is a regular and the resident a-hole. To top it off, my friend who is an xray tech at the hospital the guy went to showed me his slides. I honestly didn't know an arm could shatter like that. I also learned it takes a surprisingly little amount of force to break ribs. I wasn't proud of what I did to him, however I was proud I finally got to use the cool things I learned in Kempo Jitsu.

I saw a roundhouse kick used once; the perp came up behind an unsuspecting victim, asked him a question, and when he turned around, just swept him right across the face for no reason than he wanted to kick some ass (according to witnesses from the bar five minutes earlier). Broke the hell out of the guy's nose.

Unfortunately for the bully, he did it in front of the wrong people. He got seven years in Portsmouth with no parole and a Dishonorable Discharge.
