I lived in a close-in suburb of Paris and was disappointed in the lack of nightlife; not clubs, just a nice selection of bars and restaurants I could walk to.

Then I realized there were 3 lingerie stores in a town of only 5000 people...

the people who were upset were the museum officials. They were probably upset because you're supposed to ask for permission to film in the museum. I assume permission is only granted after a small fee (bribe) is paid. These guys skipped out on paying the bill, that's why they're upset. The article quoted the museum person saying, I'm in charge of filming here and I never approved this.

that's the cause of the butthurt.

I dunno, but I am puzzled about whether its the skin or the setting, because with those boy-shorts panties and substantial bras, you'd see more skin at a typical beach in the US, much less the topless beaches of Europe.

So there's something cultural going on over and above the mere fleshiness.

Silly, because one of the first paintings you see when you walk in is of a naked woman lying in a very revealing position. Revealing enough so that, if it were a photograph, it would likely be too racy for Playboy - think more Penthouse or Hustler level.
