Why does America insist on promoting talentless attention whores? If you have talent, then by all means wreck yourself in front of the camera as long as you keep using your talent. But the Kardassians, the Stoddens, the Hiltons, etc. are just sick. This is a relatively new occurrence. Not that celebrities from a decade ago all had to split the atom to get famous but we're talking about the Kardashians who are famous for having a father who was part of the defense team that got OJ off. Paris is obviously the heiress to the Hilton chain. I still don't know what a Stodden is. And then you have the reality show freaks, who don't even have that kind of noble pedigree.
