Don't you worry, Ford is still the bestest car maker in the whole world and if you think otherwise you're remembering the quality slip of the 70s and 80s and 90s and early 2000s but they've completely turned around now so long as you only really specific ones and don't buy the bad ones!

Ford is not known for making vehicles that don't catch on fire.

The torque converter thing has been well-known for a couple years now.
Just one example... (new window)

My Freestar has excellent handling while towing, but I've refrained from doing so for this reason. At 70k miles, I was about ready to dump the vehicle on craigslist rather than wait for the ruined vacation.

Have you driven a Ford lately?

If so, are you on fire? Now would be a good time to check.

Love how this would be a week of news stories if it was a Toyota.

Don't for get about the Tacoma buy backl for dissolving frames:

Toyota Offers to Buy Back Rusty Tacomas

In a program that covers 813,000 trucks and could cost almost $100 million, Toyota is offering to buy back 1995-2000 Tacoma pickups with frames so badly rusted that they cannot be repaired.

I love this comment on the article:

That's why FORD didn't need a "Bail out" last year. Ford has recalled vehicles whenever they found a problem. I like that, some Companies sell "Buyer beware" Cars and won't assist in repair cost.

Turn that frown UPSIDE DOWN!
