I'm assuming the "people" are all kids voting through Facebook.

Mugato: I'm assuming the "people" are all kids Viacom bots voting for Viacom properties through Facebook.

Do you think this would be on CBS if CBS shows weren't going to be "chosen?"

Well that would certainly explain Adam Sandler winning for that Jack and Jill movie that was universally hated. His ass is owned by CBS.

The last HP movie was pretty good.

My wife and I both facepalmed when we saw that. Actually, first we said he'd win because of his location in the audience. Then we facepalmed.

There seem to be a couple of legitimate good ones:

Favorite TV Drama Actor: Nathan Fillion, "Castle"
Favorite TV Crime Drama: "Castle"

Truth.

I didn't watch the show, but I went down the list of winners, and I would swear that the entire list had to be selected by a 12 year old girl. Or Armond White.

Harry Potter. Hot In Cleveland. Kim Kardashian. Katy Perry. Adam Sandler. Supernatural. Jimmy Fallon. Water For Elephants. Adam Sandler. Green Lantern. Demi Lovato. Adam Sandler. American Idol. Adam Farking Sandler.

Can't have nice things, this is why!

Wow. Peoples Choice voters are idiots. Does Ric Romero know about this?

I did watch, because there was jack-all on tonight, and I loved the part where 'Favorite Movie Star Under 25' had Harry, Ronald, Hermoine, Draco and someone I've never heard of... and Team Harry Potter lost.

2012-01-12 03:33:02 AM
The truckloads of money and popularity aren't enough! They deserve an award for looking good on film!

Chloe Moretz - you'd know her best as Hit Girl from Kick Ass, or the little vampire girl from Let Me In. She's a pretty good actress, all in all.

Any type of show that allows voting by the public will never have an accurate vote.

Every girl thats 10 to 20 will find a way to vote as many times as they can for the boy thats the cutest. It doesn't matter who has talent. It's marketing and they are doing a bang up job of pulling in every girl as soon as they hit puberty and many times before. There are several extremely talented singers on american idol that are voted off each year while some douche with a ton of hair gel wins. Doesnt matter that he/she cant sing as long as they look pretty on tv and on the internet. That's what autotune is for.

It's best just to avoid the shows and watch Walker Texas Ranger or porno.

I am okay with that. Not so much for Castle winning, but for Nathan.

Hey c'mon, it could have a LOT worse. I didn't see the latest Twilight crapfest anywhere on the list.

Evil Kirk vs Bad Ash: I am okay with that. Not so much for Castle winning, but for Nathan.

Given Fillion's career seems to be about wandering on-set and being himself, is it appropriate to give him any 'acting' awards?

I'm not complaining, mind.

If this awards show and what it represents is what constitutes "cool" I'd rather be a dork for the remainder of my life.

What was the deal with Morgan Freeman's hand when he won the "You Can Die Now" Award? He had on one white glove and it looked plastic like Woody Harrelson in Kingpin.

It's like when someone reads the list of the Academy's Best Picture nominees and says 'I haven't seen any of these movies'. Yeah, that's because you have shiatty taste in movies.

So tell us how much you enjoyed Jack and Jill and The Green Lantern. Regarding the last one, if Ryan Reynolds is really everyone's favorite superhero why did the movie bomb at the box office?

browntimmy: Regarding the last one, if Ryan Reynolds is really everyone's favorite superhero why did the movie bomb at the box office?

Well like I said, Jack and Jill was universally panned by everyone and Adam Sandler won. Perhaps the contest may not have been on the up and up.

Water for Elephants starring our favorite sparkly vampire won for best drama. I seriously doubt most of the voters saw that film. And Vampire Boy was the only one accepting the award for it.

/watched about half of it
//mostly on mute

Think it's an appropriate time for "I don't want to live on this planet anymore"

I really liked The Green Lantern browntimmy it was a fun flick, haven't seen Jack yet though.

I agree with, or can see the reason for, a lot of those choices. But Jackman as the action star of the year? Green Lantern? Adam Sandler? Those are head scratchers.

Looking at the entire list, I was wondering if I was reading the Teen Choice Awards...I was wrong.

This is the only award Adam sandler can win.

MDGeist: Ooooh another FARK "I hate everything cool" thread! These threads are so rare I was wondering when one would pop up.

When retards rule the Earth in terms of consumption of media (and by published educational standards, they do), being "cool" just means the average retard thinks you are worthy of his/her attention, much like a piece of string is adored by cats for hours despite not having any real intrinsic entertainment value for a rational being.

Kim Kardashian may be "cool" to the greater public, but again, that is because the greater public is a mass of drooling vegetables who overwhelmingly go to see Michael Bay films and marvel at NASCAR and WWE.

You sound like another redneck red state moron who confuses "cool" with "good".

Don't quote me, but I think he crushed it in an auto accident. I also believe he was drunk at the time and had some chick with him.

Subby is trying to be "oh so cool" by hating things.
That's adorable, but see through, Sub.

Please explain how Pretty Little Liars and "Best Cable Drama" belong on the same planet, much less in the same sentence.

HIMYM had a good guest star last year, but it wasn't Katy Perry; it was John Lithgow.
