When i was younger, I got "chiropractor" mixed up with "osteologist" and couldn't figure out why everyone was so down on them. I kicked myself later, but after running into a few other people who had the same idea, I started to wonder whether it was a deliberate cultivation of ignorance on the part of the industry. (Chiropractor, osteopath, osteologist.) So people probably go to chiropractors for bone and joint pain...

One of my customers is married to a Muslim (from one of them sandy places Over There). They were in a plane on 9/11.

I'm confused. Why would she get a bachelors and masters degree to be a fake doctor. Chiropractors don't even need a bachelor's degree (p). Why get all that education to be a fake doctor?

Well, I work in the projects, and see children of Baptists named "Al`Kaida" and "Phat`Wah" and the like all the time.

Well there's two kinds of chiropractors. There's the kind that say "and if we do this it should alleviate pressure being placed on this nerve and fix the problem" And then there's the evangelical ones that say,"I'm going to twist this and then Jesus will fix it." One is a quack and the other simply unfounded.

I don't think race has anything to do with it. He was sexually harassing her by: "repeatedly made sexual advances and graphic offensive comments about wanting to have sex with her". If he was trying to bone her wouldn't that mean he isn't a racist? He used her religion in a revenge plot for reporting his sexual harassment, which was a dick move, but it really has nothing to do with her race.

People and lawyers need to stop playing the race card unnecessarily because it cheapens the times when it is actually valid. She was religiously profiled if anything, you could make her white it doesn't change the circumstances of the harassment. Perhaps there is not enough details in the article to make an accurate judgement though.

That's tricky. It's on the one hand, hard to confirm, it's also premature to deny. I'd have to know more. Apparently that was not the case here as the University dismissed her complaint out of hand with no apparent or significant investigation into the matter.

So she's a career student who happens to be Muslim, going to a school run by a pack of Moonies (which are basically a fringe Christian group). One of the other students says he'd love to throw her over a log. She says go to hell, so he tells the feds that she's a terrorist, all while the Moonie administration is trying to get everybody to just settle down and not talk about it.

I am going with not enough facts to make a determination. If he was as racially discriminatory as he was religiously, I am sure the verbal sexual harassment included a handful of racial slurs. The article doesn't say so we don't know. Upon initial reading it didn't seem to involve race, but I bet there is a lot of information that we don't know.

Possibilities:

1) Her claims are true

2) She's a psycho

3) Something else

Without more information, we really can't say, but having met a few people who match her description, I know which one I'm leaning toward.

I've been to chiropractors on two continents. They always manage to make my back feel better and I've never gotten any kind of quackery. It's all been 100% about the back and their advice has never been weird. They gave me the same list of exercises as the physical therapist, but they charged a lot less and they actually manage to end spasms for me.

These"quack" chiropractors might exist, but I've yet to meet one.
