Some quick Wikipedia-ing suggests it's a Polish TS-11 Iskra. PZL (on the side of the plane) was a Polish manufacturer. Compare with this picture, which shows a plane with very similar intakes.

Maybe a proper Fark military type could verify.

After communism collapsed in Albania I was there. Because they were really bad at capitalism and all fell victim to a pyramid scheme, I managed to buy a Mig-19 for about thirty dollars from one of their military junkyards. The hilarious bit was the guy throwing in a Mig-15 to seal the deal. There were tons of planes there. I just wanted to say I owned one. They weren't going anywhere. Last I saw, the British Top Gear was at that airfield and James May and Jeremy Clarkson were standing on one of them. I remember thinking, "That better not be one of mine."

My favourite was always the Mig-15. It was a dumpy little thing. I took flying lessons later on and wish I could have gone back and fetched it. I imagine the flight trim might have been a tad different from the Piper Tomahawk I trained in.

Ugly and under powered. But, once they get a little speed going, they fly quite nice. The takeoff is funny as you add power and hold the brakes. Then, after a quick glance at the engine instruments to make sure everything is ok, you release the brakes and then.....you just sit there. Acceleration is SLOW and even though it is a straight wing jet, a 6000 foot runway seems too short for the takeoff roll.

Well, to be totally fair the Czechs built a pile of MiG-15s under license from MiG and IIRC were the last operational user (well into the 1990s).

In a related story, a buddy of mine has 2 Iskras, 3 MiG-15s, 2 MiG-17s and a MiG-21. All non-flying, but they look pretty neat sitting next to the hangar.
