This Week's Theme: "Bacon"

Description:Bacon burgers, bacon dogs, bacon wrapped bacon fried in bacon grease, raw bacon, burnt bacon, bacon that is still alive! Everybody loves bacon, why not dedicate a theme to it? Bonus internets for actual Kevin Bacon photos! Double bonus internets if you get a photo of Kevin Bacon eating bacon! Difficulty: No police, unless they're photographed with bacon products or Kevin Bacon.

We ask that before submitting your photos you read and adhere to the following submission rules, including but not limited to the following:

- Submissions must be photographs; screen captures do not count as photographs.
- You must be the original photographer of your entry. Do not submit anyone else's photography as your own.
- You are only allowed to enter a photograph once. Do not submit the same photo to another contest later.
- You may enter 3 photos in each contest as long as each photo is of a different composition.
- Please post each photo separately so they can be voted for individually.

Ideally, your photograph should be presented as taken, with as little alteration as possible either digitally in-camera or in your image editor during post-processing. No selectively applied digital effects! No removal or addition of image elements, no spot treatments, and no HDR images, please.

With few exceptions (red-eye removal, sensor or scan dust removal), modifications to the original photograph must be made evenly across the image. See the rules for more information on acceptable modifications, or check in at the Farktography Forums.

A game where you toss pigs and get points for the position they land in. The official rules say that if the pigs land in this configuration, "Making Bacon"--you automatically forfeit the game. Not in my house! The house rule is "Making Bacon" gets you an automatic WIN!

"Chicken Grenades"
From the package: "Each of these flavor bombs is made with a slice of bacon, wrapped around a piece of seasoned chicken breast fillet with shredded pizza mozzarella and Monterey Jack cheeses and jalapeno peppers, glazed with apple pepper jelly and dusted with a barbeque dry rub. Spicy, sweet and savoury, they're an explosion of deliciousness--perfect with your favorite cold beverage."

I had some cheese-stuffed buns that were the perfect compliment to these little morsels. Most delicious Farktography EVAR!

Bacon Wrapped Cattle Dog

How did you ever get your dog to sit still for the bacon wrap?!

He is a very well trained cattle dog. He won't move after I give him a stay command. I wish I could have gotten him to stick his tongue out.

He got to eat the Farkin bacon after I cooked it and he will get the bacon wrapped hot dog tomorrow.
