Last week, a hooker / pro-Domme friend of mine took a call from a prospective client while we were on the 7th Floor (Cook County Sheriff's Office) of the Daley Centre; so I'm getting a kick of this.

Sheriff Tom Jones says Andrew Allen Kramer of Grand Coulee was arrested, cited for marijuana possession and released. The marijuana was seized.

I dunno. If that's how that typically works around there, I think I can probably come up with a good number of things that are substantially dumber.

They do this all the time at the Joliet, IL courthouse.

At some of the Cook County courthouses (particularly Maywood and Markham), even dumber things are done. At least the dope peddler in TFA isn't so dumb as to first notify the sheriff's deputies that he's a dope peddler and should be watched to see if he peddles more dope in the courthouse plaza

Meanwhile, shmucks coming in to the Maywood and Markham courthouses on DWI cases and other traffic cases in which their licenses have been suspended or revoked routinely do so by driving there. Deputies in the traffic courtrooms observe which defendants have suspended/revoked licences, send descriptions of the defendants via SMS text to their colleagues in the parking lots who catch idiot after idiot getting into their cars and attempting to drive away from the courthouse without licenses. Even after the newspapers and TV news reports brought this to light, the chuckleheads keep doing it.

My brother in laws ex would have their daughter, who was on her learners permit, drive her around when hers was suspended. Learners permit requires a licensed driver to be in the car. Dont think suspended license counts...
