TFA said 7 pounds. I failed truck driving school on the math section though. What does that break down to at the street level?

This man might as well pick out his coffin - they do not punish with restraint over there when it comes to drug-smuggling. At least that's my impression.

drugs worth $34 million.

In a joint raid the National Narcotics Board and the Soekarno-Hatta International Airport Police found crystal methamphetamine and 357,000 ecstasy pills in an apartment in Taman Anggrek, West Jakarta, the Jakarta Post reported.

I think it was probably the ecstasy that was most of the cash value.

Your impression is correct. They do not fark around. When you land at CGK, there is a sign welcoming passengers walking off the plane:

Ever need to get Sudafed at night after all the pharmacy counters are closed? The got-danged store is open 24 hours a day, but the damn pharmacy sure as shiat isn't.

Have an expired license because the DMV is too retarded to send one on time? Yep...no sudafed for you!

I'd stock up ahead of time to avoid these situations, but I'd probably get my door busted in by the DEA.

I'm having trouble believing it was 34 million dollars worth, just from what I've heard about the manufacturing process & how long the stuff's shelf live.

It's stupid to have a war on drugs -- just like it's stupid to have a war on rape, robbery and murder. Hell, people are going to rape and kill no matter how hard we try to stop them. So why do we prosecute people who rape and kill? All you're going to do is put them in jail for a bit, where they'll just learn to become better rapists and killers.

I'm perfectly fine with every meth dealer being sentenced to death, even here in the good ol' U.S. Same goes with pot dealers -- because if you think your pot dealer is just dealing pot, you're smoking some good shiat.

By definition, shouldn't a narcotics board be looking for stuff that makes one sleepy? Meth is about as far removed from being a "narcotic" as you can get.

It's all about keeping the honest people honest.

Also, since there's nothing the government can do in reality, it provides the illusion that "something" is being done and keeps the right-wingers happy and voting for their hard-on-drugs legislators. Nevermind that the libs always get blamed for this type of nonsense, and yes, it's the average person with a stuffy nose that gets inconvenienced, not the tweakers.
