You know, life used to be hard for different reasons, sickness, famine, malnutrition, and everything that comes along living a pre-techonological rural society. Nowadays life is hard because others don't want us to be free. Freedom is a luxury nowadays. No. YOU are not free, unless you are above government, banks, and corporations you sir/madam are not free, you are closer to a slave.

murder-suicide more likely

2012-01-11 06:23:17 AM
Well, that is one way to cut down on marital arguments. If you knew you had to kill yourself if the fight got too heated more married couples would find a way to work things out. Good idea, India!

:-D

Does anyone else read these stories from places like "Times of India" with a grain of salt? I mean, fark, these people were out of middle school right? I mean, I'm not the sharpest marble in the bag, but even I know an argument can be resolved without multiple deaths.

A little ditty about Santosh and Anita-a
A young couple growing up in India-a
Santosh gonna be a rugby star
Anita debutante backseat o' Santosh's scootah

Knocking back hot curry outside McCurry Me
Anita's sitting on Satosh's lap, he doing Kamma sutra number 3.
Santosh says "Anita let's run off behind a gun tree
Let's dribble off your many veils. Let me do what I please.
And say a

Oh yeah life goes on
Reincarnation picks up when this life's gone
Oh yeah life goes on
In the next life, I'm wanna be a great white swan

Santosh sits back, reflects his thoughts for a moment
Scratches his head and does him best Otm Shank
Says Anita baby, this life's a lot of pain.
Maybe we should run off and catch the next train.
And say a

Oh yeah life goes on
Reincarnation picks up when this life's gone
Oh yeah life goes on
In the next life, I'm gonna be a great white swan

Gonna let it rock
Gonna let it roll
Gonna let that train come down and
release our souls
Hurry up Freight 16 as fast as you can
Don't wanna come back as a woman or man

Little ditty about Santosh and Anita-a
Two people living life in India-a
Santosh came back as a big white swan
Anita's a red tick on Lynn Cheney's arm.

Severed from their souls, I assume.

safeinsane: I always knew Santosh was bit off his rocker.

Well, imagine that you were hoping to start a farm with promised dowry, but all you get is 3-legged goat and 'magic beans'. Still, you're a good son, so you go ahead and marry this woman, sight-unseen. Imagine your disappointment in pops, when you finally lift that veil and find bugs bunny ugly underneath. The final straw is 2 hours into the marriage and she starts biatchin' like she's coming off a two day Oprah marathon. Then she tells you to "make your own Ishvaras-damned naan sandwich".

/is that a train I see?

2012-01-11 09:03:45 AM
I'm leaning toward the murder-suicide angle myself, especially since the newly-married husband finding out his arranged wife is not so pure would definitely be a button. Even more of a button would be if she continued to not be pure, if you catch the drift.

Thank god FARK CSI is on the case!

Just where did you read about the wife being 'not so pure'?

Fark people like this. You wanna kill yourselves? Fine, go jump off a cliff, don't jump in front of a train and ruin someone else's life.
