Dunkin Donuts coffee is no longer coffee. I've become convinced that they secretly replaced their coffee with an imitation coffee substitute at some point years ago.

I always thought Starbucks used that stuff that comes out of a cat's ass to make coffee.

I think it's called "cat poop".

This is good, since I've started drinking coffee without cream last year. Once I started doing that, I've begun to enjoy normal coffee more, but starbucks tastes like tires.

Civiet dung coffee costs 100x what you'd pay at Starbucks (or any other normal cafe.)

You're off by a factor of 10, it's only about 10x (new window)more for luak coffee per cup than it is for starbucks.

How is this different than the usual "mild drip" you can get at almost any *$?

/'venti mild drip' when I have to.
//it's cool when they make me a fresh pot and give it to me free "for having to wait"... then you get the $2 right into the tip jar.

THIS is the reason the golden arches was giving away free coffee for two weeks.

Or "Kitty Roca", a favorite treat of dogs.

Over/under on the awful Tall Blonde jokes coming soon at Starbucks. I'll set the line at 4 million.

I tried the Blonde drip today, it is pretty smooth and I could see myself drinking multiple cups of it. But prefer the Italian Roast still

/insert Blonde drip jokes here

I don't buy drinks from Starbucks, but their beans make decent coffee. Still, they're more expensive than other options (Seattle Mountain @ Costco), so I don't buy their beans either.

Their coffee has flavor...good flavor. Maybe it's just not your cup of tea.

/You need a strong flavor to balance out all that ice, whipped cream, cinnamon, nutmeg...

So now instead of paying $1 for a McDonald's coffee I can $3 at Starbucks for the same thing? Oh joy!

Of course most of us "light" coffee drinkers just aren't cool enough for $tarbuck$. Is Owning an Apple product is a pre-req for admission, right?
