Dear subby, do you fail deliberately, or are you just an idiot?

welcome to southern football. where you can't combine small high schools because then someone's son would get cut from new combined school's football team.

I missed the part about him talking about his son. Is that in the Collectors Box set?

Last Night, after the game, I downloaded "Lee" by Tenacious D.
I listened to it, on repeat. All. Night. Long

So, next year LSU has "The Zack Attack", the man forever exiled from Valdosta, GA.

After that the Tigers mve on the great Norse hope, Gunner Kiel. You know he'll be great. He has "Gun" in his name.

i dont care what herbert or anyone thinks, you could have put back up players, starters, the coaches, the cheerleader(oh! cherrleaders), the marching band, the US navy and Bama still would have whooped LSU. they just got steamed rolled and thats that.

Hebert is an idiot, he sounds like sports talk show callers when he speaks about anything.

Of course he had a slight point, bama rushed so much because they knew they didn't have to fear the pass while jefferson was in there.

Until this game, I had never noticed how slow Jordan Jefferson is. He makes Jim Kelly look elusive.

/ok, maybe not that bad
//but not as bad as that performance

Fans have the right to be pissed off when LSU fails as bad as they did.

While I've always watched college football, it's really only been in the last 5-10 years I've paid more attention to it, so it's quite possible I've missed worse performances at the QB position in a championship game...but Jefferson's display has to be up there. I was expecting him at some point in the second half to just turn around immediately upon receiving the snap, firing the ball a good 30 yards behind him, then light himself on fire to cap off his symphony of incompetence.

"T" when prefacing any name means "Little". So basically, T-Bob, means Little Bob. It's a Louisiana thing.

Cubs300: I'm not one to make fun of other people's names...but T-Bob? Really?

His actual name is also Bobby, making him Bobby Hebert the 3rd. T-Bob is not where I would have gone with that either, but, whatever.

Freakin Rican: you could have put back up players, starters, the coaches, the cheerleader(oh! cherrleaders), the marching band, the US navy and Bama still would have whooped LSU.

Probably, but not his point. Leaving Jefferson in the game was obviously suicidal, why not turn to Lee? So what if he went out there and starting throwing interceptions? If you are going to lose anyways, why take the approach that insults your own players along the way?

2012-01-10 01:20:44 PM
Kirby Smart says Gregg Williams helped him with the defensive plan to stop LSU, lol. Hope that didn't take away from gameplanning the Niners, taking a little freelance work on the side like that.

Hebert was only asking what every LSU fan watching that abomination wanted to know.

Whatever videos Jefferson has on Miles, I'm scared to watch them.

/only time I've watched a game where I actually woke up in the middle of the night wondering why the hell the backup QB wasn't put in.

I lol'd. And yeah, Jefferson needed to be pulled out of there, so I think Hebert was just echoing the thoughts of LSU fans (and even a few Alabama fans). I think even our guys were a tad surprised when he actually tossed one of them the ball. Dude from Alabama wasn't even expecting to catch the thing, and you could tell by the look on his face. He actually paused for a fraction of a second and was all like: "WTF just hit me on the arm? Oh... Kthx."

Hey, Bobby, to paraphrase your predecessor, T-Bob is a squirrel. Nothing to be ashamed of. It happens. I don't know there was anything LSU could have done substitution-wise that would have motivated that offense. To put it another way, even Breesus couldn't have saved LSU last night. Yes, it pains me to say that, almost as much as it pained me to see you playing for the farking Falcons.

Got your dress ready? You might need it on the 23rd.

Yeah jefferson is a terrible qb, I really expected him to be pulled in the 2nd quarter, I'm not even sure he's fast enough to be a wr in the nfl, he may have to move to te or fb.

I think he renamed the college version for shiatty qb play, its now called the Jordan "not movin on up" Jefferson award for horrible qb play.

Best In The World: "Every man's road in life is marked by the graves of his personal liking."
Alexander Smith

Like all yall I'm in balls deep for a game with solid offense and high scores. Don't need to see no defense, not ta-day, bro. But cuzone of favorite teams be the 49ers and we obviously ain't got no offense I can't just act like we do. It pains me to say it to because I like when a motherfarker bombs it out. I dig the deep ball, bro. I hate the Saints ever since they went over a team that I used to think was cool. Now the Colts are old hats but I think may be back and I can't be too upset because some of my favorite teams already be up in the playoffs. We got the Giants, 49ers, Texans, and Patriots so as long as one of them boys wins I'll be happy.

But, above I quoted Alex Smith. I think he is going to pull that trigger against the Saints and dig them a grave. Gore is a beast man, but Smith has had so much fruit that we don't even need him up in the game like in the last years. Look at them Ravens? They have to ride Rice's back like a rickshaw but what happens if you on a rickshaw throw a minefield? Ya gonna get popped. Drew Brees is the Saints rickshaw. Candlestick Park is the minefield, bro. And when that guy running the rickshaw goes BOOM it's all over. So, we need Smith to be a gatling gun and our D to be a minefield and I sure think they can be that.

One of the announcers last night used Jefferson's name and "NFL" in the same sentence...I think he should reconsider...quickly...if he plans on declaring. He looked pathetic last night. Granted, the whole team did, but he looked really bad.

New Orleanian here, and yes, these people are basically dead on their feet. Crimson shirts stained with vomit. Everyone smells like stale drunk and shameful sex. But as I mentioned in another thread, Alabama fans were super cool to our town and LSU fans. Annoying, obnoxious, and retarded - but cool.

They took over the entire city, even the chain motels in the suburbs, despite this being LSU territory. If I ever see the color crimson again I'm gonna choke a b*tch, but as far as visiting team fans go, it could have been much worse. I'm looking at you, Oklahoma.

to be fair last time they replaced Lee with Jefferson because he blew chunks against Alabama's pass rush

iat falls back on Les Miles basically, either they didn't prepare to use Lee or he had no confidence in Lee based on what was happening to LSU's offensive line and receivers

LSU got out-coached from top to bottom
