I'll admit that, when I was closer in age to the "victim" than to the "perpetrator," she would have seemed ancient to me (i.e., even older than my mom), but things do change as you age--albeit slowly enough that one has time to adjust one's vision and expectations, so to speak.

You may think that, at age 60, you'll find yourself married to a (1/2 your age + 7) 37-year-old, but I doubt it. Your wife will be more or less the age of the perp, and more or less as (facially) attractive as the perp.

If that thought haunts your dreams for the next decade or two or three or more, that's OK.....it's all part of life's journey.
