And naming her Matilda seems kind of cruel.

Good night to the street sweepers, the night-watchmen flame keepers, and goodnight to Matilda, too.

DO NOT WANT

* the picture in the article that is, not referring to a Chinese girl with green eyes, which I would very much want right now

I can see why they would be worried about illegal pet trade. That's one cool looking snake, and I don't even like snakes. I'm interested in the properties of its venom. The horns? They have to name the new species something Satany. It's too perfect of an opportunity to pass up.

Ooooh pretty!

I wonder if Dinosaurs were ever this colourful? That would have been bad-ass.

Some recent studies indicate that dinos were covered in feathers. So imagine a T-Rex going full peacock.

Probably not real venomous. I mean, you wouldn't want to get bit, but the really nasty venoms are usually reserved for elapids like cobras, tai-pans, tiger snakes, and mambas.

There are a few vipers that have really awful bites (mojave rattlesnake), but this one is probably just bad. Then again - considering you can only get bitten by these in some undisclosed 3rd world jungle, you'd probably be well F'd if one tagged you.

Oh, baby... I'll take some tongue from that....

Yes, I did see the snake.
