Long ago and far away, i somehow managed to catch a re-re-rerun of Slim Goodbody's show. He was rattling on about "healthy tissues" and "eating right to nourish your body's tissues."

I was four. I decided to eat a Kleenex.

Ate them surreptitiously every so often until probably the middle of elementary school. My mother never figured out why we went through boxes of tissues so quickly until years later, when i told her.
