I am totally OK with this as long as every police officer, judge, and politician has to take a random weekly drug test with the records being made public. I am not asking them to do anything they don't expect other people to do (Stay away from 'drugs' at all times) and given that it's my money paying them to arrest people for this, I think it's only fair for me to ask them to prove they are not guilty of doing the things they vilify others for.

How long do you think the war on drugs would last if all the politicians where held up to their own publicly stated standards on drug use?

It was probably enough to consider personal use, and since Snoop is much more well known than Random Posse Guy #4, odds are he won't serve jail time (beyond the booking). Snoop isn't letting one of his guys fall because he knows he can take the heat and get out fine (hell he's Snoop, I would've been more shocked if he DIDN'T have anything).

Willie had enough to justify distribution (at least a pound I think), but his posse came forward and split it evenly between them, dropping it down to personal use for all of them.

Not to mention that you use a fall guy for something that would reflect badly on you. This can do very little but help his album sales at the best, or face a trivial jail sentence at the worst. This is snoop-dogg, after all, and it's not like he wouldn't have backup in the pen.
