My first kid was happy with whatever brand of baby food I brought home and my second one hated them all. To wean him, I had to put the whole family on a mushy food diet--chili, mashed potatoes, etc.--and serve him out of the same pot as everyone else. Then he would eat, especially the spicy stuff.
We had a lo-o-ot of chili for a while.

A friend that lives in Malta sent me this picture of Plasmon (owned by Heinz) Italian baby foods sold in the grocery there...
Yes, that's horse and rabbit meat (along with two kinds of fish) baby food.
