That's ridiculous, at least in the world of movies. The rules and aesthetics of shooting on film vs. shooting on digital are so drastically different that you need the differentiate the two. There's no way somebody could make a The Godfather on an Alexia and there is no way somebody could shoot The Social Network on 35mm
