Great point, it's not like McDaniels drafted Teebus and Thomas in the 1st round last year or anything. Completely set the Broncos up for years of failure, never to even see .500 let alone the post season.

Thomas has been totally injury prone since he was drafted; only recently has he begun to show what he's capable of. Tebow was drafted two rounds too high and, while I'm delighted with the results, is too inconsistent at this point to be a long-term, reliable starting QB. I hope offseason OTAs and practice will change this.
All of that, however, has nothing to do with the fact that McDaniels is an arrogant little cheating prick. He embarrassed the organization over and over again.

This story is strictly something for the media to talk about this week. There is nothing more to this than the pats bringing back their former coach. The broncos have changed their game plan quite a bit with fox. What's josh going to say, "don't let tebow run"?

It's not hard. He pissed off Cutler than traded him for a lesser QB in Neckbeard. Pissed off other players that ended up being traded. Drafted a QB that every one said won't make it in the NFL, Tebow. Drove the team into the ground and left it in pieces.
It is luck that Denver made it this far. Elway was/is doing is best to pull a "Major League" so he can blow the whole team up and start new but the fans and Tebow wanted no part in that.

Peyton Hillis is overrated, too. I mean, Quinn wasn't worth getting, but I think we can stop acting as though Hillis is one of the top backs in the league.
He got the Madden cover because he is a white RB and only because he's a white RB. 11th in the league in rushing and 6th in overall yardage is great, but not "ZOMG". It was kind of a Derek Anderson-esque "somehow seem awesome for a year" thing. Not a good deal, but not worth hating over.

Pats have won more than everybody else and their coach has an obvious contempt for the sports media cliche fest.
It's a recipe for resentment.
No one cares about the Jets tampering with Parcells during the superbowl or the huge competitive advantage the tams that cheated the cap system got because none of them have had anything remotely like the Patriots level of success over the last decade
The 2007 season started with the Patriots absolutely destroying teams right after the story broke and coming a single play from 19-0
The crybaby contingent will never recover from that until the Pats have losing records for many seasons and and a new House Lannister is crowned.

What a match up, Jesus Tebow vs. Darth Hoodie. If the Denver/Pitt game got big ratings, then this game should be the biggest game of the playoffs.
The Pats won't underestimate Tebow. It was McDaniels who drafted him, and Belichick even had a meeting with Tebow. Plus Brady even said he and Tebow would meet again soon.

He tried to get Cassel, who was pretty good with the Patriots and with the Chiefs. Cutler, a quarterback who was traded up for in order to replace a Pro Bowler the previous year, then gets buttmad about the very IDEA that he be replaced after "earning" a trip to the Pro Bowl the previous year. Since Cutler, the buttmad little diva, couldn't be bothered to respond to anyone within the organization after they tried to reach him, including the owner himself, they got rid of him for a QB that performed about as well as Cutler did in 2010, AND picked up two first-round draft picks.
The other player that was supposedly upset was Brandon Marshall, who had committed multiple crimes and had no chance of getting a long-term contract given that he would be suspended for a long time following his next run-in with the law. He went to the Dolphins, who offered crazy money AND several years. Marshall's departure has nothing to do with McDaniels, but idiots ascribe it to him anyway.
The reason they went from mediocre to awful is largely due to the injuries to Thomas (who was supposed to replace Marshall in body size and ability) and Dumervil (who was the Broncos' entire pass rush). Going full sh*tty enabled them to get Von Miller.
Basically, the McDaniels era set everything in motion for the recovery from the final few years of Shanahan's mediocre tenure and always just trying to patch holes in a sinking ship. But then he doesn't get any of the credit for the players he got making the turnaround. It's stupid.
BTW, Tebow has already produced more Ws than any of the other QBs from that draft, including No. 1 overall Sam Bradford.

Didn't Brandon Marshall have to leave Denver because he pissed off a Crip on New Years that ended up getting his teammate shot?
Also, lately the Broncos seem fine with trading any WR that plays well. Marshall, Llyodd, Thomas better watch out. If he has a 1200 yard season he is toast!
Marshall might be headed to Chicago. Apparently Cutler's been flirting with him on Twitter or some crap, asking him to sign up.

I dunno, I couldn't care less about the Madden cover or if he's white, just that he was our best RB and we had to go out and waste a pick on No-show Moreno to replace him when Orakpo was sitting RIGHT THERE for the taking. That said, I'm happy with Von Miller so, if Orakpo did well for the Broncos then maybe they wouldn't have drafted Von.
Apart from the cheating scandal, which was reason enough to despise/fire McDaniels, we all witnessed the team quitting on him. I'm led to believe McD has emotional swings that gave the locker room whiplash. Not going to cut it.
