What a farking misogynistic douchebag.

That top picture makes Mitt Romney look like some sort of love-addled teenage girl.

Conservatism at its zenith, ladies and gentlemen.

He meant that he was going downtown to the Golden Corral to feed as he does each and every night. Typical butthurt libs.

The only thing that can defeat Mitt Romney in 2012 is Mitt Romney. Mitt Romney is the Republican version of John Kerry.

Cut the guy a break, he hasn't seen his penis in years, and just wants some help in finding it.

That must be the clever, intelligent way to yell "yo, suck my dick, biatch," to a female heckler.

Rapmaster2000: He meant that he was going downtown to the Golden Corral to feed as he does each and every night.

The Republican ego must be a terribly delicate thing. It's like these people have never been in front of cameras before.

So far there are a few people here who I usually agree with, so I'm just going to ask:

What is so bad here?

It really didn't seem like a blow job joke IMO. "Going down" means a lot of things, as in "things are happening".

Had he said "Maybe YOU'RE going down tonight, but not JOBS!" then I'd agree. But this seems like a lot of rage over nothing.

Yes, things are happening with the "blah" people.

You gotta be kidding me? I'm not saying "he didn't say that quote". I'm saying "I'm not so quick to assume a guy, who knows he's on camera, makes a blow job joke at a political rally" when there are other meanings for the same phrase.

I really don't think this was a "HAHA you can suck a dick" moment.

Even if you ignore the double entendre, "sweetheart" is a diminutive epithet aimed at their gender -- like calling gay protestors "fairies."

Christie has to lose some weight, he shouldn't lose it all and become skinny because being a fat guy falls in line with republicanism but between the stress of the job and the 80lbs of fat he has around his heart he is looking at an early grave.

You may be correct, but I think Romney should consider having people not speak on his behalf.

If not for the "sweetheart" comment, I'd almost, almost give him a pass on this. Bunch of hecklers barge in, start shouting--you're going to get thrown off your game & not speak as intelligently as you'd like. But, "something may be going down tonight, but it ain't going to be jobs, sweetheart."? "Sweetheart" doesn't roll off the tongue by anyone under 70. It's generally not used by a stranger unless it's meant to be sarcastic or insulting. And for that, you have to choose your words.

He meant it to be a blowjob joke. The guy's an ass and this is just one more example.

He said it last night? Tebow time, that went down. Also a new episode of Shameless went down. I had a few too many mimosas. So that went down. Then back up.

My point is, in front of a crowd at a rally especially, "Sh*t's going down" "something going down" "it's going down" is extremely common.

I'm not against piling on these two, but I would not have watched that and said "OMG blowjobs".

Now this:

DarnoKonrad: Even if you ignore the double entendre, "sweetheart" is a diminutive epithet aimed at their gender -- like calling gay protestors "fairies."

I agree with. You don't call a woman "sweetheart" in a disagreement unless you're going for a cheap put-down.

And it's not your cholesterol, either, shiatwagon.

It was a really condescending remark, and based on his tone it comes off as meaning blowjob to me, whether he meant that or not.

In the comments of the article they say police were headed to pick up the protesters and Christie could see that...

Living in NY I get to avoid most of the political ads, so I've never seen what a swing state or important primary really goes through with those.

You hippy libtards are just a bunch of fat heads. Instead of you all getting a chubby over a big bone head like Taxbongo, you should have a hefty amount of respect for Governor Christie, a true heavyweight political talent. If any of you enormous asses would get it through your thick skulls that you need to out and work for a living, rather than spending the whole day sitting on your couch, potato chips in one hand and reaching for the big fatty burning in your ashtray with the other hand while watching your wide-screen TV, you would have a mammoth sense of appreciation for a self-made businessman like Governor Christie, who went from working-class beginnings all the way to the capital rotunda all on his own. Some of you claim he has a oversized ego and a robust sense of entitlement, but not really--he let those protesters speak pretty much in full, figured they had an ample chance to make their point, and then finally he told that cow to shut her piehole, as he should have. Yeah, when he went whole hog on the Jersey humor (after all, that's his bread and butter)--ballgame over! Even Warren Buffet, king of the rich libtards and another self-made guy with massive assets, has said he has an awfully big appreciation for Gov. Christie. Plus, sized up against the other Republicans out there, and looking at the polling numbers curve, he probably has a whale of a chance to be President himself someday!

I'm not outraged. I do however think that for someone with presidential aspirations, he frequently makes a habit of sounding as unpresidential as possible.

HEY CHRISTIE, DO THE TRUFFLE SHUFFLE, YOU FAT FARK!

2012-01-09 03:27:26 PM
Eh, I laughed.

I'll save my outrage for policies and actions that affect taxpayers, not vaguely offensive jokes. This seems like one of those instances where a normal person would just shrug it off, but since a politician did it, someone needs to be outraged.

2012-01-09 03:30:37 PM
I don't know why I am surprised when things like this happen. The Republican party is openly anti-women, gay, minority.
