Spiders will eat stink bugs, but there is no American predator that relies on them as their main food source, Leskey said.
In 2010, it was like something out of a horror film: my entire south facing rear wall was literally covered with stinkbugs. I sprayed them down with a mixture of water and dish soap, which killed a lot of them, but they still infested my house over winter.
2011 wasn't as bad for stinkbugs, but I did notice the number of spiders in my house had gone up dramatically.
This winter, I haven't seen any live stinkbugs. I'm beginning to think that the spiders are picking them all off.
So, yay spiders!

So stinkbugs stink, but dog poop made of stinkbugs doesn't?
What a country!

Praying Mantii will dispatch them quickly as well.

I have a pathological fear of praying manti. Especially the 6 inch white ones that live in New Guinea.

Dramatically less stinkbugs this year than last. Maybe they roasted in July.

You can make a great trap for these out of a two-liter soda bottle and a cheap LED light. Cut the neck off the bottle, put LED at the bottom, re-secure neck with the top facing the bottom of the bottle.
The bugs'll crawl in overnight, and can't get back out. I've woken to bottles 1/3 filled, but now rarely see more than one or two per day.

I'd love to blow one of those bottles up with an M-80!

Ok, it might just be worth buying a scorprion now. Damn thing will get so overfed it's going to need a mobility scooter.

I killed one in my house a few weeks ago. It smelled like fresh cut grass but not in a good way.

Then they'll bring in gorillas to eat the wasps. But those will freeze to death in the winter, so that's OK.

I have neighbors that complain about stink bugs, I do not. The only difference between them and me? I have 20 bug warriors on patrol.

LOL I'm in the city and our neighborbood has a flock of over 20 guineas which periodically come through and eat everything. They're weird and cute. And noisy a lot of the time.

No kidding... cilantro + anything tastes like cilantro. Way to ruin a perfectly good dirty sock.

Researchers have hope for tiny
parasitic wasps
from Asia, which scientists are studying to see if they can be hungrily effective if introduced in the US. The wasps lay their eggs within the stink bugs' own egg masses. When the wasp larvae hatch, they devour the stink bug eggs and kill them.

Just never throw a lit firecracker near them. They all think it is a bug and fight over it. My intention was to scare the chickens. The effect was a blown off beak from the proud chicken that ended up the 'winner'. 1979 will go down in my memory forever as the year I couldn't sit down for a week after getting my a$$ whipped with a vengeance for farking with the egg supply in addition to a charge of general dumba$$ syndrome. Been trying to do things since then to avoid hell.

Oh... and I know they aren't chickens, but assume they would behave in a similar way. With the exception of that one on the left that looks like a Road Island Red genetic wonder.

My garden the last two years has been ruined by stink bugs and blight. I am so discouraged from putting in all the effort and money again this year even though gardening is something I love doing. There is nothing worse than reaching deep into a tomato plant that is covered with stink bugs. I also had a lot of white aphids this year too, I had to use a lot of pesticides and it didn't even work.
2010 stink bugs would cover half my house, every screen had dozens on them. I caught my 2yo playing with a live one inside of her doll house. yuck yuck yuck.
