The animation in Tintin was amazing. I just watched it last night and that was the best part of the movie for me. The overall move might not be outstanding but the animation certainly deserves a nod.

If I won an Oscar, I'd wear it around my neck like Flavor Flav's big clock.

I know it's feasible and "relatively" easy to do versus real life filming, but the unbroken action chase sequence towards the end was one of the best I had seen in a long time.

Agreed. Overall the movie was meh, but it had the best CG animation I've seen to date. Really incredible stuff.

Once again, you can have the best SPFX/CGI in the world but if you don't have a decent script it's all for naught.

That's true, but I was talking more about the textures, lighting, design, etc. than the actual animation (articulation, etc.) of the characters. I should have been more specific.

The CGI in Planet of the Apes was years behind the times. Video game quality at best.

15? It was 45 for me. This article is clearly racist, taking your 30 seconds and adding it to mine to compensate.

Yep. Best I've ever seen. And the story was fine. It was faithful to the source material. What more do ya want?

Camera moves that don't scream "WHEEEE hey! look at me! I can move the camera anywhere like it's 1996 and this is my first time on a cunpuder!"

Actually, I know some women who have made the sex with an award winning fx producer. Aaaaaaaand, hey! He's nominated here, too. Jerk.
