I know Jay-Z is worth a shiat ton of money and he seems like a nice enough guy, but eventually Beyonce will leave him because he's just too fugly for the long haul.

How can it even be legal to rent a hospital or stop some one from seeing their child they just gave birth too?

They are DEATHLY afraid of anyone finding out she wasn't pregnant, and did not give birth to that child.

As long as we fail to remember the simple truth that celebrities are better than normal people, and entirely deserving of special treatment, people will continue to whine about little things like not being able to visit their newborns in intensive care, and that might disturb said celebrity's sleep or something.
Won't somebody please think of the celebrities?

I would have called the police and told them that my newborn twins are being held hostage by some crazies on the 6th floor of the hospital.

Now being by other news outlets. Looks like the story has legs. I am very curious to see how this pans out.
A part of me is trying to figure out how they could do this and think there would be no repercussions.

That's what I was thinking, is lenox hill a private hospital?
If its public then I would guess people are in deep shiat, if this is true, which its probably not.

I'm sure a hefty donation to the hospital's foundation was in play.

I don't know about anyone else, but if I was on a jury, then I would consider "he tried to stop me from seeing my newborn in intensive care because he didn't want his wife to be disturbed" to be a perfectly valid defence against assault charges

IF it is all true (too early to tell), they may be turning over the "donation" to settle lawsuits.

Shiat with their combined incomes they could build a farking hospital wing onto their house. Five bucks says the PR lackey gives us the "they value their privacy" line.

There are certain rules that cut across hospitals whether they are private or not. Accredidations and other such things, even if it is strictly cash only. And if this is some high dollar cash only, I'd have to imagine the other parents wealthy enough to afford it also pay for the perqs, and Jay-Z and Beyonce be damned.

Last night I had a dream that I met Jay Z and Kanye West. I asked Kanye to take a picture of Jay Z and myself, but he could not operate my phone. So Jay Z starts to color all over my phone with crayons until I just left. I listen to neither Jay Z's nor Kanye's music, so this seemed like a very strange dream for me to have. I did eat fried chicken before I went to bed in case anyone is curious....seriously.

Could someone explain how it would benefit Beyonce to

J-Lo popped her fruit out at about the same time my first was hatching. She had a substantial portion of the floor (to the point that there were no private rooms that weren't hers), but even she get so dickish as to prevent the normal folks from getting to where they needed to be.

IF they really did use a surrogate, why all the secrecy? Women who can't have kids use surrogates all the time and a few high-profile celebs have as well. It isn't anything to be ashamed about.
Kicking out families out of the waiting room and refusing parents to see their newborns in the NICU is dickish no matter the reason.

I don't get it either. If the issue is infertility, and they don't want the world to know, just say, "I have hundreds of millions of dollars. I can afford to pay someone to suffer through pregnancy for me." It wouldn't make them look worse than keeping parents away from their premature newborns.

They don't do Cesarean sections "at home." Beyonce's got birthing hips and she had them cut Blue out... I wonder if it was one of the high-fashion, scheduled, needless, pre-term sections. Those are really big in NYC nowadays... neonatal and long-term outcomes be damned!

It is sh*t like this that makes me wish I hadn't clicked into a story about this earlier; this is almost entirely celebrity trash reporting. I don't want to be part of the problem of feeding that machine.

Yeah, just for argument sake I can see the actual scenario went something like this:
1. Beyonce walking down hallway; has agreement that nobody would be able to run by and snap a picture with their cell phone of her in her little hospital gown. The staff will just explain that any delays are "for preparation for visitation".
2. Parent with a baby in the NICU gets to the NICU door and is told "Oh, please just wait 1 minute while we prepare the NICU for visitation.
3. Gossipy NICU nurse whispers "It's really just because Beyonce is walking down the hall!"
4. Two minutes later, parent is back in NICU with their precious snowflake.
5. Five minutes later, parent is on phone with TMZ explaining how Beyonce banned them from being able to see their baby without having to wait "at least 4 hours in the hall".
/remember, celebrities aren't the only people that are attention whores

If true, it's on the hospital.
The notion that anyone would even have the ability to purchase such a "service" is disgusting.
