Lux Lambert: culebra: Right about now, enterprising young men and women across America are organizing office pools for the first public use of the "N" word in reference to Obama by an elected GOP official.

Pick your spots wisely folks, and don't forget that April 1st has a built in "plausible" deniability feature!

I'm honest to God surprised that to my knowledge he hasn't been called "uppity" yet...

Rush did call Michelle uppity. I think that is close enough.

Sabyen91: JohnRanger: There is a law against it. How about threatening the life of the President? He was talking to other people, how about conspiracy? They were government officials, how about treason?

[paul.pastor2pastor.org.au image 250x281]

How is that threatening? Everybody knows prayer doesn't work.

But if the charges were filed, they the republicans would have to Admit prayer doesn't do anything, and if they upheld that it did.. well you get the idea.

I ran Gozer for a little while back in the '80s. Maybe it's changed since then, but I don't remember it being terribly user-friendly.

Remember a simpler time, in 2002, when conservatives were united in the belief that all Americans should support their president in a time of war, and that all dissenters, questioners and free-thinkers were at the very least partisan hacks and at most, terrorist traitors?

Yeah, those were the days.

No, that never happened. Not once. Never. We've been assured that no Republican at any point in the history of the country has ever even implied that, much less during the Bush administration.

As a conservative I dont see people in terms of race, but the Obaboonmas need to stop spending their welfare checks on foreign Hawaiian vacations and leave the White Hizzy and go back to the ghettos of the jungles of southside Kenya, with the rest of the tribal thug gangster zulus and drink purple drank koolaid malt liquor out of the lagoon where they hunt fried chicken by chucking spears out of their gats in their baggy pants which hang down at their knees revealing their loincloths.

What was that about us all having to shut up and suck the cock of a war time president as anything less would be unpatriotic? Oh, yes, that was before January 2009.

Raharu: If I was the president, after some political Yahoo did something like this.

I would ask them to come visit me in the White house, On my dime no less.

I would invite them to dinner, cigars, maybe some beer out back. Talk it through.

Why you ask? Well because, how awkward would that be for them?

If they refused, I would make time in my schedule later that week for a surprise office visit to have a friendly chat... no matter how that chat went, I would leave saying it went splendidly, and that Political Figure X and I really came to an understanding and hit it off!

Repeated because I approve of these high-class thumbscrews. I suspect they'll only work on warm-blooded creatures, however....

So is anybody in the Republican party going to denounce him for doing this? Because if know if the shoe was on the other foot the Republicans would be crying how they are being victimized, how there is a war against them, demanding a public apology from the person that did it and the Democratic party heads, and demanding that the Democratic party make this guy step down. But because it was a Republican doing this to Obama it is just an isolated incident.

nah, the most we'll see is a few of them will try to change the subject by pulling the old "b-b-b-but somebody who looks like a liberal held up a protest sign wanting to kill Bush!" card, or they'll go on and on about "Death of a President" ignoring the fact that this movie treated the hypothetical assassination of George W. Bush as a bad thing.

Well, I'm sure some LaRouche tard made an asinine racist remark about a Republican at some point, and that is exactly the same as this shiat from a state House Speaker.

And the sad thing is they will post a picture of a protest sign from a protest that happened in a foreign country.

Republicans have managed to make a culture so terrible that no charicature, no matter how ugly and twisted, can possibly be more repulsive than actual conservatism. It's invulnerable to criticism because there is no criticism more devastatingly hideous than "you are acting like a Republican".

Republicans will compare a nameless protester with ongbok: So is anybody in the Republican party going to denounce him for doing this? Because if know if the shoe was on the other foot the Republicans would be crying how they are being victimized, how there is a war against them, demanding a public apology from the person that did it and the Democratic party heads, and demanding that the Democratic party make this guy step down. They will of course say a nameless protester with no known ties to the Democratic party attacking republicans in a similar matter is EXACTLY THE SAME as a GOP speaker of the house doing such things.

/both sides are the same, so vote republican
