Yes, let's continue to punish the actor for playing an annoying character...

...my god, it's been nearly FIFTEEN years since he last donned the suspenders! Let him have a non-Urkel role or two!

I want to be on Breaking Bad, can you help me with my dream?

Maybe Urkel could be a better actor? I really don't want to see a meth lab explode and have him come out and say "did I do that?".

Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: Yeah, it's difficult to see this show going past seven seasons with the overarching Burned Spies Incorporated storyline.

Besides, I always dug the "help the downtrodden victim of the week" storylines better.

Yeah, that "Helping those who can't help themselves." shtick of Michael's was working, and it was working well. That's certainly true. But you know they always intended for him to go after the people who burned him. If that wasn't the case, they would have called the show "Vigilante For Hire" or something to that effect.

I always had the feeling that the Los Pollos employees refered to Gus as "Urkel" behind his back anyway.

subby: Jaleel White wants to be on Breaking Bad. Can we farkers help Urkel achieve his dream?

I'm guessing a show like that has a casting director. Since I'm not that person, no.

I dunno, I could buy it. it's not like he's Dustin Diamond, who's not only known solely for the one-note stereotypical character he played but for being a douchy prick IRL.

I just have a hard time imagining what they'd do with him. but like TMLO, I have a great deal of confidence in the Breaking Bad team.

Can they change the name of that show to something that makes sense or is grammatically correct? Then I will watch.

Meh. I'm a grammar Nazi and i fail to see anything wrong with it.

If you weren't such an uptight grammar dick and actually watched the show--specifically the first episode--you would actually find out why it's called "Breaking Bad".

You watch a lot of reality TV, don't you?

There's nothing grammatically incorrect about it. So even a grammar nazi has no room to complain. "Turning Bad" wouldn't draw any complaints. In this case, "Breaking" and "Turning" convey the same meaning. While it's an unusual (and mostly colloquial meaning) of "break", it's a perfectly valid one.

elvisaintdead: What's next?
Screech proclaiming his potential contributions to 'Justified?'

Walton Goggins would be picking him out of his unusually large teeth.

So, in a nutshell, TFA is "washed up child actor wants to be given cushy role on popular and highly acclaimed series."

Sorry, Urkel. You're gonna have to come up with a better argument than that, especially now that there's less of a stigma with A-list actors starring on TV shows.

Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: elvisaintdead: Not to mention his sartorial brilliance.

Amen to that.

Gus Fring had style like a mammajamma.

My favorite thing was when he put down a handtowel, to protect his knees, while vomiting up the poison.

I'd like to be on it too, and nobody would associate me with Urkel. I think I should have the upper edge.

2012-01-08 08:23:15 PM
That's ridiculous!

However, that guy who played Stefan would be a good addition to the show.

It's one of the great things about the show; all the actors completely understand the characters they play and inhabit them completely. I'd love to know if that was written into the script or if that was something the actor came up with.

Little touches like that fascinate me -
was that move scripted (BB's writers are certainly good enough to write it) -
or was it acted by GE (who is also for damn sure good enough to act it)?

Where should child actors go to come back to television?

As an Unsub on Criminal Minds.

Is JW a farker? What's his handle? Is that why we're pushing for him?

He was on "House".

this should be punishment enough for us tv watchers.

2012-01-09 01:29:55 AM
I'm gonna put this guy on my Dead Pool list.

/For the foreseeable future, the dude has to have the word "Urkel" mentioned in each and every story about him.

//Otherwise, people always go "Jaleel White??? Who the fark is that???" when only his real name is mentioned.

//He's gonna slit his wrists over that.

///It's only a matter of time.

2012-01-09 02:32:25 AM
Urkel was punishment. Why do that prick a favor now?

2012-01-09 03:40:38 AM
"You broke bad!"

"Did I do that?"

I wouldn't be against Carl showing up as a cop to help Hank crack the big case.

Thanks so much! I entered.
I had a blast as the lead role for an episode of I almost Got away with it, and I think this would be even more fun.

No way! That's pretty cool. Will the episode air again anytime soon?
It would be fun to see a farker on the telly!

It aired for the first time the December before last ('10). It's still on frequently though. In fact, my best friend called me up today to tell me she saw me on today and watched my episode with her parents.
It's Episode 9 of season 2. "Got to Lock and load" I think you can watch a preview here Preview, maybe (new window)
I portray the main big-bad Richard Keyes. It was so much fun and it was the first and only time I'd ever acted. Never drama in HS, or anything like that ever =P. I'll bet you can find it on TV if you look for it.

breaking bad :

A colloquialism popular in the American Southwest referring to when someone has taken a turn off the path of the straight and narrow, when they've deviated from what's right.

Dwight_Yeast: Toshiro Mifune's Letter Opener: I mean, hey, who would've thought that the doofy dad from Malcolm in the Middle could've carried and commanded a show of this nature?

Funny, I was thinking that the one actor I'm not willing to give a second chance to is Frankie Muniz.

Muniz did just that. The episode sucked though. That asshole Wil Wheaton played a Norman Bates rip-off on Criminal Minds too.

No! Now go back to being Urkel for the rest of your life!
