Stunning, just.... wow... We've got some friends who moved to England from Sicily, why they left when they had this on their doorstep i've no idea.

Hmmm why would people move away from a place with a giant volcano that erupts constantly. I wonder....

The concept of fire and brimstone nearby is impressive until a cloud descends and it smells like fire and brimstone.

Some Italians might like that. You need to avoid those folk.

/pyroclastic flow meeting up with thick snow is very impressive

The Romans believed that there was a gate to Hades somewhere on that mountain.

I don't wonder why.

Am I the only one who's ever wondered what it would feel like to dive into a volcano?
Would it even hurt for a moment? Would it feel like an eternity of pain? I'll bet it would suck, but for how long?

How many times do you have to be told, those keys are gone.

I knew it was only a matter of time before that video hit the internet. This past holiday I tried to keep Aunt Etti from refilling as often as she normally does. These old Italian aunts just aren't aware that there is some mook nephew trying out the camera on his new phone and Aunt Etna is providing the perfect scene for his shot at internet stardom.

Though usually it just goes to the inappropriate dancing with the younger guests and the flirting. Oh god the flirting.

But in the end there is something endearing to the old aunts hitting on the young guys. Sure, they have grandchildren, maybe great grandchildren, but in a way, it seems almost wholesome, something lost of a bygone era. These aren't the desperate gold-digging cougars hitting up the bars in the business section of town. No, these are the antebellum women of legend. These were the women who gave our soldiers a reason not just to fight, but to fight and come back for another moment of innocence, joy and youth.

There is a power in these women. And the so-called cougars have nothing on them. These women who seduced your grandfather, cooked such food that even attempting to mimic it was an insult, and created a reputation which outshines all attempts to imitate.

No, these are the women that cougars look at with wistful envy, knowing that once they have passed, all that will live on is the legend, which will fade to myth.

All hail the Saber-Toothed Cougar, for the world will be all the more poorer with their passing.

I thought that was just a caricature.

First of all, you wouldn't sink seeing how magma is a lot more dense than the human body. You'd instantly catch fire and don't even try shouting for help because you probably would die from asphyxiation as your highly flammable lungs burn away.

I read that as Mount Elvira.

I don't know why.
