I doubt this is the case really. Hospitals like Lenox HIll have privacy floors for celebrities (and those willing to pay for the extra perks). It doesn't cost anywhere close to $1 million dollars. My guess is if they wanted complete privacy they would have had the baby somewhere else (including their home) where it would be convenient and much less expensive.
