So no one here has experienced that feeling in the back of your head when someone is staring at you? Or witnessed someone turn around who you are staring at? There's definitely something going on there that is not explained by current knowledge. Just because they aren't explainable doesn't mean they don't exist.

I definitely have had "psychic moments." Maybe they were coincidences, maybe not. I wouldn't be surprised if our minds were capable of more than we realize.

Yup. What's considered supernatural in one era will often be explained by rational science later as humans progress. That's why we no longer sacrifice virgins to ward off tornadoes.

F*cking tornadoes. How do they work?

..and how many times have you NOT turned around when people are looking at you? You figure that given the fact that most humans live in the vicinity of other humans that if you turn around odds are you will see someone who at least you think is looking at you.

The ability to take coincidences and make them "meaningful" is the most power psychic phenomenon out there.... "I sense there is someone you are close to, their name starts with a R, T or S type sound, do you know who I am talking about?"

The other day I was at work and told my boss I was pretty sure my idiot bro had left his keys at home before he left for new York. He was flying back that day. I got early permission to drive home and let him in the house.

Turns out he had, and I was at.home just a but after he called me for help.

His keys were in his desk drawer, where I couldn't have seen them.

no i'm not psychic.

They are explainable by rather simple psychology. Google confirmation bias.

Meh. I hate the word "psychic". Do we sometimes know things before they happen? Yes. Do we all have vague feelings that turn out to be true? Yes. IMO, they're all just presentiments (Things our subconscious mind puts together without us realizing it, yet we act on it). Lotto winners who play their favorite numbers? They've been subconsciously noting trends in lotto drawings, and the part of their brains that 100000 years ago would have said "Every animal has gone quiet, STFU!!" now says "This is a good pattern. Doo eet!"

But for fark's sake don't get me started on ghosts/dead relatives you've never met/ "Mommy, someone was standing in my doorway humming (me hummming "Do Lord", and 3 generations of family starting to cry because it was my (dead for 9 years/I was only 4) great-grandfathers favorite hymn)" That's a whole 'nother creeptastic ballgame.

That's fine, we've pointed out that there's an explanation for which there is actual evidence and which fits within the current framework of the laws of physics as we understand them.

If you want to carry on believing in magic, that's entirely up to you.
