Helena Bonham Carter as the Blue Fairy, right? And...let's genderbend and have Winona Ryder as Jiminy Cricket...of course, knowing Burton, he'll stick with the original story and have Jiminy squooshed. Hm...who are the other regulars?

Apparently he was too distraught over his recent breakup.

And by that I mean he was too busy farking every girl he walked past, the natural step when you breakup and become free.

When will Burton just become another punchline like M. Night Shyamalan? It has to be pretty close after that monstrosity that was Alice.

Burton needs to STFU. Seriously, Pinocchio??? That is what you are reduced to? Why not "Mary Had A Little Lamb", FFS?? At least nobody has done that one yet.

This is what happens when you are unwilling to pay good writers what they are worth, folks. You are left with your thumb up your own ass, trying to come up with something yourself, and looking like imbeciles because all you can manage is farking Pinocchio.

I literally crapped my pants. Well, it was more of a shart as opposed to an outright crapping, but the sentiment is still there. Tim Burton considering anyone other than his Muse Depp caused poo to escape my bum.

Balchinian: farking Pinocchio.

that's the porno, starring Pee-Wee Herman as Pinocchio.

Jeez. Like we don't know EXACTLY what this movie is going to look and sound like?

Burton... please... hang it up. You were creative a couple decades ago. Now you're just plagiarizing yourself over and over. It's painful to watch.

I understand Geppetto to be a brilliant but troubled man, but what addiction could he be recovering from?

Oh my God, I feel like you just ruined my childhood. THEY SQUISH JIMINY IN THE ORIGINAL STORY? Ugh.

I believe that Pinocchio is the main character and the article does not mention who would play that role.

But you already know who it would be, don't you.

/I've also got a pretty good guess on the blue fairy

Wow! I haven't felt my "Vinnie Sense" tingling like this since I first heard about "Treasure Planet". I mean, just WTF were they thinking??

Would someone please get Tim Burton away from our classic children's movie remakes, please?

Enough, already.

...is there a reason for your bizarre formating, and apparent hatred for any form of capitalization or punctuation? Bourbon is a reason.

On topic: someone at work mentioned RDJ was back drinking/drugging, and was going to another rehab, anyone know if that's true? If so, I'd rather expect his carreer to die again. I mean, wasn't the reason he stopped getting work for a long time because no one would risk money on a picture with him in it, since he'd be relatively sure to miss a ton of days, delay filming, etc.?

He has to get Christopher Walken to play Geppetto and Depp to play Pinnocchio.

"You see this little wooden boy? For five years I hid him up my ass. No reason, really -- I just ENJOYED the SENSATION of having an uncomfortable hunk of wood up my ass."

"Is that why I smell of nachos and failed dreams Poppa?"

"It is, little man -- it is."
