Headline fixed. No longer funny, but the story is depressing.

Indubitably: "Magic makes man's teeth dust..."

I am the bear.

Bear makes man dust on tundra...

That is bear.

And bear dies...

Just like man makes dust on tundra.

Man is dust on tundra.

Dust is man.

I'm at a loss to why he plead guilty if all they had was "he had the ingredients" without any evidence of actually combining them in a way likely to produce a controlled substance.

Methamphetamine in and of itself is a moderately nasty drug... but most of the horror stories revolve around poorly syntheses and hazardous lab practices. If methamphetamine were available over-the-counter to adults (as it once was, I think?) we'd see far less damage from it.

from the sentence length he is no noob.

LEO's will make most any dwelling a den of felony to suit their cause. left-over slices of copper pipe and fixtures becomes material to build bongs. scraps of wire and a box of odd electrical components, you're turrist bomb builder. a few basic tools and a roll of duct tape = burglary kit / rape kit.

Presumably, he had something else that indicated the intent to at some point do the combining. Possessing any one, two, or even three of the ingredients is innocuous, but get them all together in one place, and there's just not many OTHER things you can do with them, especially in quantity.

But what if you had like 1000 other random chemicals lying around. Like maybe you were a collector of random chemicals..?

my eyes: I read that as " for controlling a manufactured substance" instead of "for manufacturing a controlled substance" was funnier the way I read it.

Well, technically, at first we'd see a whole bunch MORE damage - followed shortly thereafter by a great deal less.

Do people actually think that there is anyone who wants to do meth that cannot find it? The most idiotic, sleep deprived, mumbling meth head could be dropped off in a city where they do not know anyone and a few bucks and they will turn that money into meth within a matter of hours, if not minutes. So we have established that keeping it illegal does not stop meth heads from having access to the drug. Also, do you really think there are people out there who would do meth if it was just legal. It is so readily available that anyone who is predisposed to taking that poison has. People do meth because it gets them high, people who do not do meth, refrain because they have seen how it screw up other people and know better. The legality of the meth have nothing to do with either reason. There are idiots who want to kill themselves, so let them and only put them in jail if they are a threat to other people.

I don't think it matters which seat it's in, having sex with a toddler, especially your own toddler is just wrong.
