He seems like a generally good guy, but he has just above a .500 record, and only reached the Super Bowl once in 16 years with Tennessee, and made it to the playoffs an additional five times. Fisher had the good fortune to make it to the Superbowl in the team's second season in Nashville and that meant a lot. Plus, he was the only coach most of the Titans fans (meaning those who live in the team's area) had ever known. He played well with the media and always said the things that you want coaches to say, especially after a loss. His stubborn mishandling of the team's 2009 start didn't do him any favors.

He's the guy if you want mediocrity. Six winning seasons in sixteen years.
