James Harrison would have gotten flagged for that hit.

James Harrison would have been suspended for the rest of the year probably

That's a great video to show you the power Harrison has. He took Fatty McFatterson and tossed him like a Hulk Hogan Wrestling Buddy to the ground. Wow.

Mike Curtis of the Baltimore Colts had a better hit

I see wrapping up and no helmet-to-beanie.

True to 2011 Packers LB standards, he tackled him 5 yards downfield from the line of scrimmage.

It was hilarious in person. Everyone around us just started laughing after the tackle.

Wrapped him up, then slammed him to the turf.

Nice. :-)

That video looks like it was taken not too far from my friend's seats (row 18 in section 112).

Wish I could have been there for that game.

That's how it works. You run onto the field, you're free game. That's what they ought to be using as the incentive not to do it. Don't worry about not showing them on TV; someone's got a camera and it'll wind up on YouTube anyway. I say show it. Show the drunken idiot on the field, and then show said idiot getting bulldozed by a pro athlete. 'You want to run onto the field? Here's what's going to happen to you if you do. Still want to have a go?'

Yeah, but they should make practice squad guys suit up for it, that way the people don't get to say "I got tackled by (insert famous player here)!"

You know who else had a bigger hit? (new window)

I think they should put this kid on an After School Special to teach others what happens when you decide to crash a professional football game...possibly while quite drunk or high!

Well, Brad Jones has pretty much been a practice squad player until last week.

I was thinking more of the Harrison tackle when I was making my statement, but yeah. If Matthews or something had done it, it makes for kind of a cooler story for the idiot.

James Harrison reminds me of the old SF Giant, Kevin Mitchell. I wouldn't want to cross him because my cat might end up in two pieces.

Matt (Swatty) Diaz's spiderman take-down was much more efficient...

Wait, he was "Completely sober"? well, no wonder he is no longer welcome in the stadium. We cant have any of that.

not in green bay. I mean the kid is FIFTEEN already, get him a beer.

I don't know stadium law, but with the idiot on the field being a minor, what are the chances charges will be filed for assault. The player isn't part of the security for the stadium, so the right lawyer could make a case, I guess.

Don't get me wrong, I'm not advocating the player face charges. I'm glad he took the kid down, but it's still a kid and there's always a "won't somebody think of the children" aspect to these kinds of things.

It added less than a minute to a 3-plus hour event. The referees wasted more time under the hood than this kid did. And the hilarious part was him getting taken down.

That fat guy totally facemasked him. Why was there no flag?

So now this kid has been banned from the stadium? I wonder if he's a GB fan? Is the ban lifetime or what?
